Chris Williamson's birthday
[edit]In the info box, Only Chris's birth year is listed. However, On this page on Rate Your Music (https://rateyourmusic.com/artist/cris_williamson), it says her birthday is 15 February 1947.
Should I add this to the info box and use that page as a source?
KaraLG84 (talk) 19:04, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- In my opinion, no. I've seen various help-type pages within WP that discuss birth dates, but this one for Biographies of Living People states clearly that exact birth dates should only be used when the information is widely published in reliable sources. I don't think the source you cite would be considered very reliable for this purpose. Maybe research her birth date in newspaper or magazine or other encyclopedia articles about her? - @NOLA1982: Thanks. I've not seen her birthday mentioned anywhere else as far as I can tell, so I'll just leave it as it is. KaraLG84 (talk) 23:04, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
Intro overview
[edit]This intro paragraph sounds like a public relations release. Regardless of its accuracy, it sounds like a canned promo rather than an encylopedic treatment of the singer's overall importance, achievements, and influence. None of it is sourced. Any discussion? Looking for more references
[edit]Hi folks, started an Awards section with a good citation. I will spend some time looking around for more sources so we can get rid of the tag!Realitylink (talk) 21:37, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
