How to Destroy Angels (EP) → How to Destroy Angels (single) — The Coil article is about a single, and the How to Destroy Angels article is about an EP. Relisted. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 13:29, 21 June 2010 (UTC) –Cosmopolitan (talk) 06:08, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Wikipedia articles are about the songs themselves, not the singles they appeared on, hence How to Destroy Angels (song) would probably be better. --Prosperosity (talk) 11:00, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Few singles are 16 minutes long by definition. An EP classification is appropriate and both review sites note that it is an EP, thus sourcing it as such. How about moving it to How to Destroy Angels (Coil EP)? --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 19:35, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- It's a song. A single song. Thus the classification of "Single". I would not oppose the suggestion made above for the title of "... (song)", but really (song) and (single) are saying the same thing, so both of those work. But this is not an EP, even according to modest literal definitions: longer than a single, but shorter than an LP. Single songs over 10 minutes are historically anything but unusual. –Cosmopolitan (talk) 21:01, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- How about we side-step whether the Coil release was a single or an EP, and just call it a "12-inch"? That's how reliable sources refer to it.[1] We should move it to How to Destroy Angels (12-inch), then the "album" can be moved to How to Destroy Angels (EP), with an appropriate hatnote to the 12-inch.
