It's Like That
[edit]"It's Like That" originally debuted in 1983 along with "Sucker M.C.'s" as both back to back in a casette. Both eventually recieved praises from the media as the first rap song with more grittier and harder beats, overpowering legendary Hip-Hop pioneers like Grandmaster Flash, Kurtis Blow, and many others. Plus, making the start of Run-DMC's career.
The song is actually about how hard life is in the area the group live. How people die, prices get raised, etc., especially life on the outside as well. Later in 1997, DJ Jason Nevins remixed the song and soon became top of the music charts.

Used On Jeffersons By the Pointer Sisters
[edit]I was young when I saw this but I swear this song was once used on an episode of the Jefferson's and was sung by a girl group that I *think* was the Sister Sledge. Anyone? —Preceding unsigned comment added by IntegrityWebDev (talk • contribs) 20:18, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
Policy discussion in progress
[edit]There is a policy discussion in progress at the Manual of Style which affects this page, suggesting that the capitalization of "like" should be removed. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. — LlywelynII 14:17, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
Production list for the Music Video
[edit]Can anyone track down the list of the performing talent (dancers), and the director/scripter/filming crew for the music video? I have been trying for the last few days with little to no success. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.243.181.164 (talk) 23:30, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

One of the biggest selling singles of all time?
[edit]The lead paragraph states that it's one of the "biggest selling singles of all time", but linked-to page ("List of best-selling singles") doesn't include it. That page only lists singles with 6.9 million or more sales. I suggest that this statement be update to qualify the assertion, or it be removed. Tonto1979 (talk) 17:10, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
