[edit]I have amended the page back to its state before Freedom Skies last edit. Freedom skies has appeared to revert the page back to his last amendment disregarding the additional content and spelling corrections that have been added to the article since his previous changes. If he has an issue with the content added he should make this clear and discuss it rather than simply revert the page to his own subjective opinions. The content I have added are simply an acknowledgement of opinions widely shared throughout the mma community (I invite anyone to search the topic at Sherdog.com, arguably the largest resource on mma) and Takada has supposedly admitted the worked matches in his own book, however due to translation issues and my inability to find a hard copy I have not included this in the article.
If there is a problem with acknowledging a widely held view (which I in no way respresent as a fact) then Freedom Skies should certainly not be stating his own opinions (such as that Takada established himself as a legend in MMA history, many regard his fights as a disgrace to the sport or that matches which many see as laughable such as that vs Filipovic were shows of strength and resilience) as facts on the topic. -Trollheim
Transition to MMA
[edit]"Though Takada was originally brought in to attract fans, the show lack of skill and fighting spirit made the japanese public boo Takada in his later performances. Sakuraba will carry Pride status of local star while Takada will be forgoten."
What is this garbage? I'm not debating it's truth, but this desperately needs some references and fixing.

Fixed Fight?
[edit]Well I was looking some videos on YouTube and everyone was 100% sure that his fight against Coleman was fixed. Does anyone have some kind of reference about this? Yet Inue (talk) 05:34, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Coleman issue
[edit]Since this fight was revealed by the organization as fixed, why is it even on his pro record? --JY23 (talk) 21:22, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
FIXED FIGHTS
[edit]Why were all references to the fixed nature of all of Takada's mma "fights" removed from this article? Unless someone can explain why that information about Takada's only wins is irrelevant to an article about an alleged mma fighter, I will revert the deletions. Mr JM 01:06, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- I did not remove it but if there were allegations of fixed fights without Reliable Sources then that is contentious material and should be removed from all Biographies of Living People (WP:BLP) on sight, not tagged, not questioned but removed until there are reliable sources for it. So don't revert, source. MPJ -US 18:35, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
Why is there comments like this in there: "Though Takada's submission wrestling skills were never doubted either by the Japanese public or the matchmakers, it was his conditioning that would make the essential difference." No mention of the pitiful Bernardo fight. Too much praise. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.50.52.34 (talk) 21:55, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
