Hello! Well done overall! I really liked how you structured your article, first discussing the potential improvements on democracy then disrupting democracy. Yet, I believe several parts of the article can be improved:

In the very beginning, you mentioned "The sudden change in society limited social movement activities, leading to a momentary pause in political issues." Are there concrete data to back up that it was a "momentary pause?" Was it completely stopped? If not, to what extent was the frequency of political activities reduced?

Later in the same paragraph, you offered an example of how Filipinos are using social media to participate in democracy. Why do you specifically discuss the Filipinos? Maybe it's a good idea to include examples from a wider range of countries to demonstrate an unbiased perspective.

Furthermore, in the "Improving Democracy" section, there is a whole paragraph about how American politics became more and more reliant on technology yet only one sentence about Canadian politics. Perhaps it's a good idea to do more research on the Canadian side to resolve this imbalance, which can lead to undesired biases.

Later in the same section, you mentioned "Generation X became disillusioned that even large-scale public protests such as the UK miners' strike (1984–1985) were seen to fail a decade before information technology became generally available to individual citizens." Perhaps it would be more well-rounded to also include discussions on how Generation Z and millennials feel about the large-scale public protests.

Overall, I think this is a very solid first draft and there is a lot of room for improvement. I believe you have time and can do well on this project! Yifanbao1 (talk) 06:36, 14 October 2020 (UTC) Yifan Bao[reply]
