Milo's resignation meant nothing. He is now only de facto in control in Montenegro, instead of both de jure.

BTW I hear he intends to run on the next Presidential election. --PaxEquilibrium 22:09, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't disbelieve anyone but how is this known and where did he learn Serbian/Montenegrin? His page says nothing of this. Evlekis 19:32, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I never knew people like that existed. To have one foreign parent is reckless but two? In our homezone! I am surprised at his fluency but there you are, he is to Montenegro what I am to the UK. Evlekis 19:37, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Crystal 128 browser-crnagora.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:39, 14 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Resurgent insurgent 2007-04-14 01:36Z

Montenegrin Constitution

[edit]

BTW did you hear about the language in the Constitution? That's why I'm still ambiguous. I think "MonteSerbian" will be proclaimed as the official language of Montenegro.

Also I like the proposal of Nebojsa Medojevic to rename the country, removing "Republic of" and leaving just Montenegro. Montenegro is now an independent country, and there's no longer need for this. --PaxEquilibrium 23:15, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, you misunderstood me.
The "Republic of" Montenegro means that it's one of the constitutive republics of a greater state, and is the remains of Yugoslavia. It was kept "Republic of Montenegro" later throughout FRY and S&M. But now that Montenegro is independent, there is no more need for it.
We no longer have to say "People's Republic of Montenegro" or "Socialist Republic of Montenegro" pointing it out all the time, I think it's time to do like the rest of the world and just say "Montenegro". Take the Romanian Constitution. They made changes so that the official name of the country is just Romania.
I think the times of necessities of pointing out forms of government within state names (especially when they're not monarchies) is long past. But that's just me. Cheers!!! --PaxEquilibrium 23:40, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is all shit. I hope this 'MonteSerb' or whatever fucking will not be adopted, but better just "Montenegrin". I'd myself prefer MonteCroatian, and I hope it will very soon be - just like Jevrem Brkovic said years ago. Perhaps one day Montenegro will finally be a peaceful place and Croatian sole official language. After all, all Montenegrins speak Croatian!!!

wtf fuking this stupid "gradjanska drzava"??? CROATS MUST BECOME A CONSTUTIONAL NATION OF MONTENEGRO! That way we can finis every Montenegrin's dream of a Montenegro as a NATION-STATE OF THE CROATIAN PEOPLE!!!

SlavoSerbian fukkers of Shismaticsismus are the problem. I know you can't all become Catholics right now, but the dammed Chetniks won't even give you Shismatic Chirches!!!!!!!!!!

Mother Montenegro! Wen wil zou realize!!! Montenegrin and Serbian is history now! CROATIA IS THE FUTURE!

After all you're a Red Croat yourself! WTF did you do that continuing Sava's genocide???? STAY CROAT!

CroDome?

[edit]

"Godamit Chetnik, stop spreading Greater Serbian propaganda!

Montenegrins aren't Serbs. The Red Croats were BRAINWASHED into thinking they're Serbs!"

Someone sent me in an e-mail this. I give up. I think I'll retire together with you.

Notability of Andrijana Božović

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Andrijana Božović, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 22:37, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Andrijana Božović. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --Finngall talk 02:31, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Flag of Kingdom of Montenegro.png listed for deletion

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Flag of Kingdom of Montenegro.png has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. ^demon[omg plz] 20:46, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello Crna Gora. I just want to ask you something about Stevan Faddy if you might know, is he Scottish only on his father's side with his mother being local (presumably Montenegrin)? Or is he born to two Scottish parents? I'm just curious to know. Evlekis 18:00, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pope Sixtus V

[edit]

You might want to know that Pope Sixtus V's father was a Montenegrin. :) --PaxEquilibrium 23:43, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thought he was Croat; someone put him on List of Croats and wrote that he's an ethnic Croat. But it appears that Afrika paprika's the one who added this. ;(
I'm researching Osanna of Cattaro for now... any chance for help? --PaxEquilibrium 23:49, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't quite support this edit. It implies as if he was just Serb and just that (he was Montenegrin too, at least in modern or recent-to-modern as the term "Montenegrin" expanded from Old Montenegro to include the Coastal, Highland and some Herzegovinian clans). --PaxEquilibrium 23:55, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Grahovo or Grahovac

[edit]

Well Grahovo, of course.

Why do you think it's Grahovac? --PaxEquilibrium 18:04, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just conducted a little research, and it appears that "Grahovo" is the tribe (er, clan) while "Grahovac" is the settlement.

Since they overlap, most people mix the two (including me up to several hours ago).

Anyway thanks for asking, I would've never found out if you didn't ask. :) --PaxEquilibrium 21:22, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

At the Zemljopis Crne Gore from 1899 you can see the clan "Grahovo" and town "Grahovac".

I think there's somewhere online where you can see it... :) --PaxEquilibrium 21:26, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My family is from Grahovac, so let me explain it briefly: Grahovo is a town in Niksic municipality, and Grahovac is a village 7 kilometers north (via the road) from Grahovo. It is very scattered on a plain surrounded by the mountains. The battle itself happened on that plain, and that's why it's called Battle of Grahovac. However, since Grahovac, today a village of less than 100 people is often not even marked on the maps, people mistakenly take Grahovo as the battle venue. Spelling

[edit]

Hey. I just started editing pages a little while ago (specifically those concerning northern Albania and southern Montenegro). I figure it's only a matter of time before I start helping out with the articles re: Montenegro. So, seeing as you're experienced with Wikipedia, I wanted to ask you what the standard operating procedure is regarding the myriad spellings of place names, etc. in our area. For instance, the many spellings of Malësia (Malesia, Malcia, Malesi, Malesija, Malecuja and Maltsia) is dizzying. to say the least.

How do you normally deal with it? Is there some sort of guiding principle I should use for spelling proper names that cross languages? And further, to what extent should we group articles that seem to be covering the same subject matter?

Thanks

GAC backlog elimination drive

[edit]

This form message is being sent to you either due to your membership with WikiProject Good Articles and/or your inclusion on the Wikipedia:Good article candidates/List of reviewers. A new drive has been started requesting that all members review at least one article (or more, if you wish!) within the next two weeks at GAC to help in removing the large backlog. This message is being sent to all members, and even members who have been recently reviewing articles. There are almost 130 members in this project and about 180 articles that currently need to be reviewed. If each member helps to review just one or two articles, the majority of the backlog will be cleared. Since the potential amount of reviewers may significantly increase, please make sure to add :{{GAReview}} underneath the article you are reviewing to ensure that only one person is reviewing each article. Additionally, the GA criteria may have been modified since your last review, so look over the criteria again to help you to determine if a candidate is GA-worthy. If you have any questions about this drive or the review process, leave a message on the GAC talk page. --Nehrams2020 00:59, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As you can see link police made a raid on the article [3] so could you please restore link to my website but this time as proper reference for Military before 1918 so link police can't deleted it again. There is no point in me screaming copyright violation to get the link restored and if I place link back myself link police will charge me with WP:COI. ;-)

On the bright side I have found nice book called Црна Гора за вријеме Првог свјетског рата, now if I only could find some time to read it. --Ivan Bajlo 00:41, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: WP Kosovo

[edit]

Well of course, as long as there are interested users.

I am not a Kosovo-related Wikipedian (and neither are you, if I understood), so you'll have to find some *Kosovo Wikipedians*. If there's none, there would be no point in creating it.

A Wikipedian Project should exist for ANY group of information that has a group of users interested and/or vastly dedicated to it. So if you find say, 2 users, who contribute Kosovo-related subjects practically every day, there would be an absolute need for it. --PaxEquilibrium 12:14, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Amadeus Band

[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Amadeus Band, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 172.162.81.43 15:52, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Željko_Šturanović.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Željko_Šturanović.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Butseriouslyfolks 03:49, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sdpa.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sdpa.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:29, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bad article

Coalition for European Montenegro

I have expanded it and I have collected a lot of election reports, news and media reports and various sources to expand it, but I've made a mess.

I think it'll progress into a fine and beautiful article (the alliance has a pretty long and interesting history), but I desperately need your help to vastly re-order, correct and rewrite it. --PaxEquilibrium 16:49, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For Yugoslavia. I want to merge it, but I'm not sure whether to Patriotic Coalition for Yugoslavia or Together for Yugoslavia, because there are reasons for and against in both cases. Putting it in the latter would seem wrong because "For Yugoslavia" was undemocratic, while this one was, and fearsomely opposed Slobodan Milosevic and its legacy, while the previous is just not it (it was led by NSS, and not SNP). --PaxEquilibrium 17:51, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

[edit]

I was just paying attention to your edits in the past several months and just wanted to tell you - keep up the good job. You've become multiple times more neutral (than most people in Wikipedia, I might even say me ;). May the Force be with you.

Also, I wanted to ask a personal question - what do you think of the Movement for Changes? What's your opinion on it? Do you think it's a "Serbian Trojan Horse", a "successful test by the government to crush the opposition" or something totally else? What'd you put on it? --PaxEquilibrium 23:45, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well that's why DPS (Milo) does not want new elections immediately after the constitution. ;0) And everybody else does, even their close buddies at SDP. For God's sake the President of the State (that is from DPS!) wants elections directly. Because Milo (and everyone else) knows DPS will lose it.
"successful test by the government to crush the opposition". Well Milo and his buddies are calling them a "Serb Trojan Horse", while the (proSerb) opposition is calling them that way, thinking that they are agents for Milo designed to destroy the unified opposition (there are now four blocs from what used to be two) - and that they succeeded in their attempt (SNP has 8 seats [sic!] and is away from NS with 2 and DSS with just 1; SNS is leading a fragile Serbian nationalist alliance with just 12 seats).
Of course I heard Palica. ;0) But no, not Milojko's song... --PaxEquilibrium 00:21, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You do not think he was honest?

But unlike many (or better most) Serbian politicians, he has nowhere in his history a dot of controversy and has always remained a Liberal and Social-Democrat. For another thing, his wife is of Croatian descent. Even if we take that the only and sole reason for that statement is faster assent into EU (and as far as I see the EU didn't notice this at all, but just Croatia), there is no indication why should that be the only reason (whereas in Vojislav Kostunica's case, who can't even judge Srebrenica and less even apologize when directly asked to, truthfulness of such an act would be highly questionable and that would most definitely be the sole reason for that act - unlike in Tadic's, whose political history is "'clean" of *such* things). --PaxEquilibrium 17:56, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Policijska stanica

[edit]

I've nominated Policijska stanica, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Policijska stanica satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Policijska stanica and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Policijska stanica during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Duja 07:35, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

July 2007 GAC backlog elimination drive

[edit]

A new elimination drive of the backlog at Wikipedia:Good article candidates will take place from the month of July through August 12, 2007. There are currently about 130 articles that need to be reviewed right now. If you are interested in helping with the drive, then please visit Wikipedia:Good article candidates backlog elimination drive and record the articles that you have reviewed. Awards will be given based on the number of reviews completed. If you have any questions about this drive or the review process, leave a message on the drive's talk page. Please help to eradicate the backlog to cut down on the waiting time for articles to be reviewed.

You have received this message either due to your membership with WikiProject: Good Articles and/or your inclusion on the Wikipedia:Good article candidates/List of reviewers. --Nehrams2020 03:35, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Sutjeska.jpg

[edit]

I have tagged Image:Sutjeska.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. BigrTex 20:04, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Montenegrin Language

[edit]

Is there any way that this may become the official language of Montenegro? I'd love to take a trip round ex-Yugoslavia and Montenegro in particular, I am very interested in the difference in cultures in each region. ¡иąтнąи! | Talk | Email| 08:57, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Simp nelson2.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Simp nelson2.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ACBestMy ContributionsAutograph Book 19:53, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Simp nelson1.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Simp nelson1.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:34, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Albania merger

[edit]

Hi, sorry to bother you. You are listed as a member of WikiProject Albania. That project was proposed to be merged with WikiProject Southern Europe as a taskforce. No replies from your project was heard but the merger has still not taken place. WikiProject Southern Europe may now be taken over by the proposed WikiProject Europe - hence WikiProject Albania would become a taskforce of that Project. If you support or object to that, or becoming part of SEUROPE, please state them soon to me or on WP:SEUROPE's talk page. Thanks for your time. - J Logan t: 20:18, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Novak Adžić

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Novak Adžić requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay.

NeilN 23:40, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bane Mojićević

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Bane Mojićević, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Oo7565 20:05, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Telecommunications of Montenegro, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Telecommunications of Montenegro has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Telecommunications of Montenegro, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. An article that you have been involved in editing, Hercegovačka (Podgorica), has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hercegovačka (Podgorica). Thank you. I am hoping the article can be built up more, I noticed you started the article in April of 2007. I would also support a merge instead of outright deletion. -- Keeper | 76 19:59, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
