Brandon Keener article
[edit]Hi there. Can you be more specific about what information you want backed up? I added a new reference, but I'm not sure if it's for the information you were referring to. HortatoryOMG (talk) 22:16, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Please forgive me, but I'm still confused. I have read the articles you suggested, and the WP:BLP says: "As of April 3, 2010, a new proposed deletion process was established, requiring all BLPs created after March 18, 2010 to have at least one reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article." I have done this. As for the movies listed, are you saying I'm meant to find a source for every movie on there? HortatoryOMG (talk) 22:23, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for that. :) So how exactly does one prove that he was in these games, TV shows, and movies? I mean, I have the liner notes from the Mass Effect games right here, but I can hardly scan those and upload the picture as a reference. There's got to be some way for actors to prove they were in something that's more acceptable than IMDB, and I'm not sure what it is. Every actor article I'm looking at cites IMDB, or has no citations. HortatoryOMG (talk) 22:35, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- For example, would this work? HortatoryOMG (talk) 22:39, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
I appreciate all your help! I've added several more references, from non-user-editable sites. Do they look okay to you, and are they enough to get the article out of the penalty box? If not, what else do you suggest? HortatoryOMG (talk) 22:59, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Cheers! I'll go see if I can find a Fort Smith ref. Thanks for your patience. HortatoryOMG (talk) 23:02, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]What do you want? Please be specific there are legitimate news paper articles listed on the page, websites as well. I checked Wikipedia and they state News paper articles are legitimate, so I posted them. Will you please tell me what would make you happy and I will locate it if it I can. I am unsure what you are after, if you would just tell me, but be specific, it might help.

[edit]Hello Everard Proudfoot, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of BIHARI LAL BODYBUILDER, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Blurpeace 18:47, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

What are you up to here Explain?
[edit]Why are you harassing me for? Did I do something to you? If you want to be a nice person and help out here than great, but if you’re here to just harass people by placing deletion notices on their articles for the heck of it, than you are simply vandalizing yourself. No other user dose this without an explanation, they will specify what sources they would like to see and try to work out a easy solution to fixing an article before slapping a deletion notice on someone’s hard work. I asked you what would justify a leganamate source and you never replied back, so I looked it up on winpekia and it stated legitimate news paper articles are considered legitimate source. I put up an article from News Paper which you vandalized by removing, this news paper organization has been in business for more than fifty years, so I do not understand what you are trying to do here, please explain. Do you work for Wikipedia? you spend an awful lot of time on here, I would like clarification of your status on this website, or are you some guy with nothing else better to do with your time? [edit]Right after you put up the deletion noticed on my articles the link was gone to the news paper I put up. At least I answer your questions. [edit]What reliable sources are available? Not just that the films exist, but that they meet the notability at Wikipedia:Notability (films). Everard Proudfoot (talk) 06:03, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
I don’t remember classifying this in that category (Notability films). If I knew a way to redirect it I would. I see no button to do so. Do you have any Information on this procedure and I would gladly do it. Please help rather than attack me with delete notices. [edit]Apologies for confusing the issue with Lost on Mars, et al. I didn't see that all of the director/producer articles were already deleted; I figured there was a production house or something still there to which we could redirect these articles. On the upside, though, at least the vandalism stopped. Thanks, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 12:19, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Please assume good faith. It is a very far stretch to call that a "BLP violation." In fact, the link does support the claim. Click on the "Bio" tab and there is the information cited. Though this may be a bit cryptic (to some) the consensus at WP:WPBB is that it is a reliable source. --Brian Halvorsen (talk) 05:33, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- It is fine but please realize that when someone comes out claiming that another editor committed BLP violation it can be very damaging to that person's reputation. I just feel that you could have given me the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was a simple mistake rather than throw around a pretty damaging term. Thank you. --Brian Halvorsen (talk) 05:40, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Your uploads
[edit]What are you planning on doing with all of those logos? Each and every one of them must have a fair use rationale which indicates which page you're planning on putting them on. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 05:38, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
If you looked at any of the logos, you would have noticed that they are the shoulder patches for various police departments. They will be incorporated into pages about each department.

[edit]You know what? Fine. I don't care. I was trying to be helpful by giving you a warning, but you don't care, you just want to assume bad faith on my part. So, just let all of your copyright violating images get deleted. Enjoy. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 06:05, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. I've been looking over your contributions and you certainly seem to do good work here. I've gone ahead and issued you rollback rights. Please be careful with the privilege - it can be easily lost. I recommend you carefully read up on the what you should do and should not do with rollback, then practice here before using it. I'm confident you'll use it wisely. If for some reason you don't want it, let me know and I'll revert.
You may wish to display {{User rollback}}

- No, I'm not big brother, but I did want to follow up, to see how you were doing with Rollback. From what I can tell, so far, so good. You may be interested in adding WP:TW to your toolbox. It will automate many of the things it looks like you're doing. Most serious vandal fighters use it. Like rollback, you need to be careful using it. Best of luck, and keep up the good work. I found newspaper articles, namely in 'The Georgia Straight' and in 'The Spirt of Vancouver'. Working with producer Bob Rock is mentioned in the Spirit of Vancouver article and The Sessions winning the battle of the bands "Emergenza" is mentioned in both articles.

OK. Given that aricle appears to be factually accurate - there are a lot of relevant Google hits - who is it attacking? It may well qualify for deletion under WP:AfD, but not as an attack page. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:33, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
- There is a thread on Phil Bridger. As I have said there, the article may well qualify for WP:AfD deletion. As it appears to be factual it is not an attack; the need for references in WP:BLP only relates to articles recently created. And I am now going to bed. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:47, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Adam R. Vareika definitely does not fall under db-hoax. I have changed it to db-a7, because I found almost no coverage of him at all. —fetch·comms 00:21, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- Definitely feasible. It is certainly not a blatant and obvious hoax (db-hoax only applies to articles saying things like "Matt is turned into a cow one day and lived atop Mount Everest for two years"). Did you bother checking the sources given, as unreliable as they are? This seems to show that he at least exists, as does this. See also Google and this. Of course, he doesn't appear to be notable in any forseeable way, but he's not a hoax. —fetch·comms 00:28, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- Claims should be taken with common sense. It's a poorly sourced BLP, to boot; those claims aren't backed up nor do they actually make him notable--Barack Obama's doctor isn't notable, for example. —fetch·comms 00:30, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

Delinking
[edit]I've removing links to well-known countries and associated nationalities in line with WP:OVERLINK. In particular "... avoid cluttering the page with obvious, redundant and useless links" and "avoid linking terms whose meaning can be understood by most readers of the English Wikipedia, including plain English words, the names of major geographic features and locations ...". Do you have a specific concern about an edit I've made that may have breached these guidelines? Colonies Chris (talk) 22:50, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- It's not the country/nationality that's obvious, it's the link. I'm not removing the fact, just the link. Colonies Chris (talk) 22:54, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

My defense
[edit]Hi there, PROUDFOOT, VASCO from Portugal,
In my defense, i'll say the following: this "user", Zombie433, engages in - brace yourself - appalling English, overlinking, etc, etc. He has been asked to change his ways repeatedly (please check his talk page and check also mine to see the replies i have been getting about this chap), and what does he do? Removes messages the minute they arrive in his talkpage, WITHOUT answering (this includes being warned about creating unreferences BLP, he does not care, he removes those too, treating WP like a personal website!)
I have taken it upon myself to try and minimize his actions because he adds very little (he also has been told to stop over-categorizing articles, he DOES NOT, and he adds ZERO references in English - of the hundreds he does add, i admit that). I also noticed he has received several barnstars and stuff (no i'm not jealous!), and does not have the minimum courtesy to thank people for those.
All in all, again i fight the vandal (in this case, the people who refuse to comply with elementary rules of cooperation) and get scolded (fair enough, i'll admit not your - deliberate - intention, as it's the first time you write to me); OK, i won't revert his addition again, but can i at least be allowed to compose the overlinking and the appalling English?
Attentively, sorry for any incovenience - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 03:37, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
BLPPROD -- only with no sources.
[edit]Hello, Please be aware that WP:BLPPROD is only for articles with no sources... Thanks Hobit (talk) 18:04, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- Fair enough, but a reference for one such claim is enough, not all claims. That is certainly there. Hobit (talk) 18:19, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- A) if you feel something there is contentious and unsourced, please feel free to remove it, but that's not a reason to delete the article, let alone apply a stick prod. B) The award nomination is certainly reliable. C) If you feel this should be deleted, I'd suggest an AfD nomination. I think he meets WP:N but I'm fairly generous that way, so it might be worth doing. Hobit (talk) 18:27, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- It's a RS. It may or may not prove useful in AfD toward WP:N, but it certainly meets the requirements of WP:RS. Keep in mind even primary or really poor sources are enough to ward off a sticky prod. WP:BLPPROD is, at least at the moment, only for unsourced articles. Hobit (talk) 18:33, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, if you want I'll do the AfD nomination. With Twinkle it's pretty easy. Hobit (talk) 18:34, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- Understood. I disagree pretty strongly and in any case it doesn't matter as RSes aren't required to ward off a BLPPROD. Like I said, the next steps are to either nominate it for deletion, ignore it or fix it up. Hobit (talk) 18:37, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

iFixit Link Changes
[edit]Hello Everard Proudfoot,
I am glad that you went through and changed the 3 External links I added to Apple product pages: iBook, Power Mac G5, & iPhone 4. I am happy, because this now gives me a chance to discuss the chance to add relevant and useful content to multiple Wikipedia articles with a reputable Wikipedia editor.
I assumed that there would be some form of conflict of interest issue that would arise in adding linking to sections of iFixit's website, especially since I am employed by iFixit. However, I read through the Wikipedia: FAQ/Organizations Page and noticed this piece of information: "If the link is relevant, helpful and informative and should otherwise be included". I made a post on the talk page, justifying my reasons for including the external link. I also added links to both offline and online news/media sources that promote the user-friendly, Wikipedia-style content on our site.
You removed the external links I added under the premise of "spam". I would like to state that the inclusion of my site's content only enhances the current content on those articles. I would be extremely happy if you could spend a few minutes looking through some of the repair guides for the repair manuals on the iBook, Power Mac G5, & iPhone 4. I feel that these pages fit under the category of being "relevant, helpful, and informative" and should be included.
I do apologize for not putting a message on the discussion page for the Power Mac G5, mentioning my affiliation with iFixit. I did do this on my other two edits however.
I would greatly appreciate your input on the matter.

Page-blanking
[edit]Thanks for pointing out what I had done. No, I certainly didn't intend to remove all the previous content, and I am not sure how I did it. Will be more careful in future. Thanks again. Grafen (talk) 07:44, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
as you can see probably, i am new to wikipedia so don't exactly know how to use it. so saying, all the information given in the haber yoonis article is as much the only proven truth there is out there about somali clans since somali people aren't prone to write things down. how do you think this history should be written down? i am open to suggestions. we are a clan of over 8 million people world wide and do indeed deserve our own page. in fact, i think every clan deserves their own page as our traditions, history and even language at times are different. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fatimamadar (talk • contribs) 21:23, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
how? especially, when all the somali people have left is word of mouth? if that is the criteria for publishing new articles to wikipedia concerning countries that have been in a war zone for the last hundered years then so much else needs to be removed. my sources are word of mouth from a handful of old people left who remember anything from the old country. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fatimamadar (talk • contribs) 21:27, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
unfortunately no. as i said, somalis are more word of mouth people. so unless i write a book and than come back to post a page i don't see how else to do it. sorry about restoring the old article. i was saddened to see it gone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fatimamadar (talk • contribs) 21:31, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Careful. I should really have blocked you for 3RR there, given that the other editor's reverts, whilst unhelpful, weren't obvious vandalism. In future, please report such editors at WP:AN3 before exceeding 3RR yourself. Cheers, Black Kite (t) (c) 21:41, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- Unless I'm missing something, I can't see how edits like this are BLP violations? Black Kite (t) (c) 07:31, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- Not really; they're just unhelpful. If they were contentious, controversial or negative in any way, you'd be right (see WP:BLP, which says "all quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source using an inline citation; material not complying with this may be removed"). But this is just a list of awards. Black Kite (t) (c) 07:35, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- It doesn't really matter because they're not contentious, and thus don't fall under WP:VAND or WP:BLP, so all I was saying is that unless such edits are obvious BLP violations, just stop at 3RR and go to WP:AN3 (or in the event of particularly bad BLP violations, WP:AIV instead). For one thing, it'll get something done quicker than getting into a revert war! Thanks,

Reporting persistent spammers
[edit]Per your recent AIV report, because you noted a problem with persistent spamming I've added the domain to our spam blacklist, which will prevent any edit containing that web address from being saved. As other websites also use our blacklist this can have a detrimental effect on the spammers' web traffic... but that's the price they pay :) If you run across similar issues in future it might be worth reporting the spammers here (though the page is often backlogged). Thanks for your vigilance, EyeSerenetalk 07:53, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- Taking a look at those now (only just seen your report at ANI!) EyeSerenetalk 08:02, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- Just FYI, I've added two of those three (the third wasn't 'persistent'). Regards, EyeSerenetalk 08:30, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the warning and encouragement of templates
[edit]Thanks for letting me know you didn't appreciate our disagreement with EENG's vandalism of the Loy piece, and for promoting templates. So you know, I couldn't care less if he deletes the entire article, or tags the heck out of it. I don't know this guy at all, and was simply letting EENG know that I didn't appreciate him "pretending" to be an admin by blanking the entire Fuster article down to one phrase, when he didn't have the authority to delete articles. Since he is not an admin, he "deleted" all the content by simply blanking the page. Watson then claimed on the ANI that "EENG didn't delete the page, he only requested that an admin do so..." Well, that's a fib, because when you blank a page with a dozen references down to a single sentence, it is a de factor deletion. Interesting how you guys play this game here! Don't worry, I won't "remove" any templates, now that I know how this place works, I'm adding them all over the place like crazy, what fun! It's way more fun to trash the work of others with a bunch of little brooms, than doing the hard work to create stuff... you're right, I'm getting this! Your objective is to not have a single article without a bunch of templates at the top, and fine, I've got 1,380 grad and undergrad students working for me here who will be happy to help with your goal. So, when I added tags to EENG's work (quite legitimate ones, BTW), did you "warn" him to stop removing tags when he removed them? Hmmmm.... BTW, your "final warning" is the first I've received indicating how much you personally love templates, and I've got 5,000 unique, dedicated IPs across the world from our Cisco hub here in Boston, so your threats are really unnecessary... especially since I actually agree with you, and am now determined to become a dedicated tagger like the rest of you folks (you gave me religion). If you really think that they help attract more quality editing... who am I to argue? Let's see if, in the next decade, anyone else really adds anything of value to the Loy article cause of dem neat tags, ok? Phoenixthebird (talk) 12:09, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
You notified me of an AFD of this article, which I do not recall editing. Please provide a diff of my edit of the article, so I can be sure the notification was not canvassing. I reserve judgement as to whether the article satisfies WP:N. Thanks. Edison (talk) 04:15, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for notifying me of the new AFD for this article. As you pointed out, I contributed to the first AFD, even if I did not edit the article. I was incorrect in suspecting any type of canvassing, especially since I previously argued for keeping the article you now nominate for deletion. Edison (talk) 23:14, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- If you notify a group of people who edited an article, and a group of people who contributed to the AFD, and a group of people who participated in a deletion review, a Venn diagram would show that some did all three, some did 2 and some only did one. No one would want several notices about one new AFD. No one should have to create 7 templates to suit all the editor contributions. A wordsmith could perhaps create a template which fits all 7 possibilities. People have complained bitterly when I templated editors who only made one edit to an article, along with editors who only made one Wikipedia edit 5 years ago to that one article. Never set out to please all Wikipedia editors. Edison (talk) 23:21, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi Everard:
I'm trying to make a common sense historical contribution to a page on "Religious views on masturbation", here's my entry:
Irish Catholic Church
[edit]The Irish Catholic Church, originating from the influences of St. Patrick, refused to legislate private, moral or social behaviour (including sexual matters such as masturbation ) and chose to hear private confessions as opposed to public ones as required by the church in Rome at that time. Perhaps this viewpoint is derived from an ancient proverb: "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings." Proverbs 25:2, (NIV). In any case, any discussion concerning the private life of a believer was not to be legislated or condemned publicly. [1]
As you can see it takes a very sane and historical view on religion and sexual matters. Someone of some *nature* out there is doing their best to piss me off and it's working...
Question for you?
Are there any sane people out there?
Or am I being reduced to the size of a grade six student who won't even reveal their name... as they are nothing more than an IP address: 69.181.249.92
I don't feel like getting incredibly angry over this...
I just want to *contribute*
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for your message. That's a good question. I agree that a copy-and-paste loses the edit history required by the GFDL license, but I don't know what the solution is. That isn't a valid CSD criterion. Maybe the right approach is WP:MfD? I just don't know. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:55, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
ORGNAME
[edit]Yes, I'm aware, and that's why I haven't linked to it in cases like that. I would like to know ... when was that added to the policy? (The ORGNAME shortcut only dates to last year. It appears the policy was tweaked at the time based on the idea that there was consensus at this discussion, which I don't see. Before, the section read, more sensibly:"Use of Wikipedia for promotion of a company or group is not permitted, and accounts that do this will be blocked. Use of a company or group name as a username is not explicitly prohibited, but it is not recommended, and depending on the circumstances may be seen as a problem.", per longstanding practice at UAA (I've been reviewing reports there for three years, and the understanding back then was that you only blocked a name matching an organization if it was being used to promote the organization, which I consider more consistent with WP:AGF.
You might want to read this little saga, in which I blocked a user named Bravogolfhotel because ... someone had found via Google that there really is a Bravo Golf Hotel in the Phillippines. No matter that they hadn't edited, and that it's far more likely that the editor meant to spell "BGH" in the NATO phonetic alphabet. So look at what we almost protected Wikipedia from.
You might also want to read what another longtime UAA admin, Rspeer, has to say on the matter. I'm not quite as lax as he is, but the BGH incident above got me thinking about what he was saying. And I'm not the only UAA admin who feels this way. (It also seems there's just-opened RFC on this. Thanks for inadvertently drawing my attention to this ... I'll have to comment. Daniel Case (talk) 03:53, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
I suspected there had been a more recent change, but didn't know for sure until I did the research for this. Daniel Case (talk) 04:10, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Transform Nigeria Movement
[edit]I'm an Executive Representative of Transform Nigeria Movement organization and I can vow for the authentication of the Transform Nigeria Movement wikipedia page. The Article on Pointblanknews page was submitted by my organization to Pointblanknews and my organization have legal right on the content. And not only is the article has been re-edited if you look at the links you will notice that the article is a contribution to same web links.
Also will be good to have in mind that this is an internet age and there is a great possibilities that same article could appear on numerous pages at once. You just need to be patience to figure the authentication of the user. I will make sure the article on Pointblanknews.com is pulled down because it is outdated
I also wonder how many admninistrative wikipedia assigned to work on pulling same article concurrently.
Thanks for your cooperation.

Hey, just letting you know
[edit]When you placed a warning on User talk:Udaya.cegon, there was no need to jump straight to level 4. I would have used a level three in that situation as he's only made 3 inappropriate pages. Some would even say to only user level 1 or 2, given he wasn't warned about any of the previous pages at all. (I've also already reported him for a potential username violation, but you didn't know that.) Keep that in mind when dealing with future problem editors, because a lot of editors who start off nonconstructively turn into productive and helpful members of Wikipedia. elektrikSHOOS 07:47, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit]This site works because so many people of so many different backgrounds work to make it so. No good user should have to put up with that kind of garbage from an obsessed mind. Everard Proudfoot,
As I was sending an answer on the talk page, my computer crashed (a planté). After it came back to life & when I returned to the page, I noticed the whole thing had been wiped out. As I was trying to undo my previous revision, you must have been also working on it, because I met an "edit conflict" - then you sent me a couple of msgs.
Anyway, I was not trying to archive anything nor to mess up: my computer went nuts.
I just checked the talk page & noticed that you archived it. Would you mind "unarchiving" because we are in the middle of a discussion on whether to move the article or not.
Sorry for this.
--Frania W. (talk) 02:21, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Everard,
I just explained to you that I was sending an answer (which was never sent because my computer crashed). By the time I came back to the page, you had already picked up the problem & I could not undo my revision. My God, you went so fast!
So now I am a... vandal!!! Well, that will bring a chuckle to a few!
--Frania W. (talk) 02:37, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Everard,
Thank you for calling for help.
This is what you wrote me, which made me think you were considering me to be a "vandal":
- "I have restored the headers which you have improperly removed twice. You do know that removal of Talk page comments is considered vandalism, don't you?"
Hope the problem will soon be fixed, and wishing you that it never happens to you.

Re: Accepting Edits
[edit](Moved from my user page). [2] - Really? Everard Proudfoot (talk) 03:41, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- I have no idea what problem you perceive in that edit. Reviewers are not expected to verify facts, only to check that edits are not obvious vandalism, legally problematic, or against BLP policy. Thparkth (talk) 01:33, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- (Please reply here, not on my talk page). No, I didn't think it was vandalism. It may be obvious vandalism to you, but I assure you it wasn't - and still isn't - to me. Perhaps you could explain the basis for your feeling? Thparkth (talk) 11:08, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- There's no sourcing for it, and the name is something that the IP had been trying to put into the article several times but had been reverted several times, we can't just acce3pt BLP violatins as valid without sourcing. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 17:22, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Just letting you know that that blanking you reverted was by the page creator, and may have been an attempt to delete the page per DB-G7. My revisions to the WENDY JAMES wiki are public knowledge and the sources are contained in the LINKS section of the wiki itself.
[edit]My revisions to the WENDY JAMES wiki are public knowledge and the sources are contained in the LINKS section of the wiki itself.
Her MY SPACE page is clearly linked.
You (or anyone else) just has to click it to go directly to the source.
(Thus I did not bother putting a direct link as there is already one on the Wiki..)
Oddly her FACEBOOK page has not been linked by Wikipedia
However there is a clickable link to that too on the MY Space page.
Links are accepted as sufficent source especially when they contain the information mentioned publically.
(WIKI PILLARS I believe mention this in great detail..)
Finally there is nothing libellous about my entry.
All fact.
All proven.
All mentioned publically and in great detail by WENDY JAMES herself.
In fact I even linked to the TRANSVISION VAMP wiki (her previous band) which has had a section of this information ACCEPTED 100% for months now.
So it's perfectly fine and acceptable on one WIKI for months but not on a relevant satellite wiki suddenly..?
So to recap.
Not libellous in the slightest.
Well sourced with directly relevent links to the actual information mentioned.
No overlapping links.
I can do no more than that.

Where are the Members Of The Public's Contributions Recently on This WENDY JAMES wiki and why is it SO difficult to post even the tiniest edit..?
[edit]Perhaps you can explain why every time anyone tries to post even the smallest amount of new information on this particular Wiki entry they are suddenly faced with obstacles..?
Every...single....time.
For...every...single..member of the public.
Check the history of this entry and show me where ANY member of the public (not an editor doing technical updates and corrections) has actually gotten anything onto this Wiki recently..?
If WIKIPEDIA are so gung ho to filter anything and everything which might go on this wiki then perhaps they should just shut it down or remove it permanently.
It serves not purpose with outdated (November 2009?) and ludicrously incomplete information
(the band RACINE broke up 2 years ago and where is that mentioned anywhere in 2010)
Make up your mind.
Patrol this Wiki entry nonstop and rigidly enforce the rules more harshly than normal..
(and the wiki will never be bothered by another member of the public again..nor read by one either)
or
Shut it down.
You cannot have it both ways.
But it will REMAIN in the history section and the discussion section for the whole world to see anyway 24/7.
How Kafkaesque is that..?
You are entitled to do what you like.
I will be watching closely when Miss James herself attempts to post any fresh entry in HER OWN wiki.
Will she have to justify herself as everything she writes WILL be almost certainly unsourced and POV.
I stand by my entries.
86.43.215.174 (talk) 02:09, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
If FACEBOOK and MY SPACE are not considered reliable sources why were they allowed to be so heavily LINKED in the entire WENDY JAMES wiki..?
[edit]If FACEBOOK and MY SPACE are not considered reliable sources why were they allowed to be so heavily LINKED in the entire WENDY JAMES wiki..?
And surely the actual LINK to the MY SPACE should therefore logically be removed if it is not considered a place of reliable verification..?
(Yet there it remains and has so for months and months..)
And the link to a free promotional song DOWNLOAD site..?
And the link to a 6 year old interview (BBC)..?
And the link to a FAN SITE..?
And the link to A REVIEW SITE..?
And the link to a section of the GUINNESS BOOK OF HIT RECORDS for the month of june 1989..?
(yes just that one month and no other year or month..)
And a link to AUSTRALIAN CHART positions from almost 20 years..?
(and no other country including the band's own home country since..?)
And a link to A PERSON's PERSONAL BLOG..?
And a TABLOID NEWSPAPER..?
All of those links (and some more!) are to VERY unreliable sources indeed.
Shouldn't each and everyone be removed as they are blatantly UNRELIABLE SOURCES..?
If I see them gone (and the reason for their removal mentioned just as publically) they I of course shall abide by the UNRELIABLE SOURCES rule.
Otherwise it looks selective and arbitrary to say the least.
Thank you for your time.
