Fair use disputed for Image:Lightninground.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Lightninground.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:50, 16 September 2007 (UTC) [reply]

"More sources" banner to Jeopardy!

[edit]

Hi FamicomJL,

I noticed you added a "More sources" banner to the Jeopardy! article. It is customary, when adding Wikipedia maintenance templates to articles, to make one's specific concerns known on the talk page. It would be even more helpful if you were to add {{fact}} tags wherever within the article you see some nontrivial information presented as unsourced or improperly sourced. Banners added without discussion usually don't result in motivating improvement of articles and end up being deleted with no action taken on them. Thanks, Robert K S 06:02, 17 September 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Re: Mendy a FAC?

[edit]

It's too bad he didn't have a book published, then it would easily be FA! :) The next best thing would nominate it as an A-class article. It should be able to pass...don't you think? RyguyMN 05:01, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! Since the New York Times archives are free now, this article should help expand the Wiki bio on Rudolph! :) RyguyMN 23:46, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pyramid Game Show

[edit]

Hey, Famicom. Just curious, why did you say I stole that image of the $25,000 Pyramid title card? I cited my source just as I have cited my sources with the other images I have uploaded, didn't I? How was that thievery? I don't understand, and I want to understand so I don't make the same mistake again. I'm still learning what does and does not fly on Wikipedia.

Thanks for your note. I left a note on the user page of the editor who removed the Dark Period section. I asked him to discuss such a major removal on the talk page. Thanks again. Casey Abell 15:35, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
