CactiStaccingCrane, I haven't thought about the issue too deeply tbh. I think we need the community to get together and look at VA as a whole so we can get consensus on what the issues actually are. If not we might end up proposing solutions that are inadequate or unlikely to gain consensus. (talk page stalker) A couple of things I took note of after a quick browse. A lot of the history section reads as a list of disconnected factoids with no chronological narrative. For example, you discuss the discounted Pictish origin theory (which could do with a bit of detail, who thought it Pictish, and why, and what disruptive it?) separately from the actual building of the castle. The whole history section could use a once over with that in mind. I'd also drop them mention of the green lady haunting unless you can find better sources than websites about spooky ghosty places. ScottishFinnishRadish Thank you for the comments! I've expanded the comment about being Pictish, and made a start re-ordering some of the history section to make it more chronological. I'll leave the mention of the haunting whilst I have a look at the sources again, as I vaguely remember something more concrete somewhere (more than the passing mention at https://www.deadlinenews.co.uk/2018/09/05/stunning-castle-tower-available-for-rent-at-1300pcm-complete-with-resident-ghost/). -Kj cheetham (talk) 18:16, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
