Hi and welcome to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you recently added an external link to Self-publishing, and I removed it for the following reasons: it does not appear to offer any additional information that is not already covered by the existing external links, and because you appear to be adding a link to your own site. Normally, one is not allowed to add an external link to one's own site unless one brings it up on the article's talk page and gets concensus first. Please see Wikipedia:External links and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest for explanations of how these policies work. Even though your work has been reverted, you are welcome to try to get your external link back into the article by first bringing it up on the article's talk page and getting support from others before re-adding it. Placing your link back into the article without any attempt at discussion, especially if it is done repeatedly, will most likely be viewed as Wikipedia:Vandalism and quickly reverted. Thank you, and I hope that this experience does not discourage you from helping to edit Wikipedia in the future. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 17:44, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I've already asked you to seek concensus via a talk page before adding external links to your own site. Thus, I've reverted your edit to Print on demand. If you want to persist, please initiate some kind of discussion first. That's what talk pages are for. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 18:47, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
