In his own words, Omarion describes the mixtape as a liberating experience for him: <quote>“I did a lot of self-searching and figured a lot out about myself and what music should mean to people,” Omarion says via phone from Los Angeles. “After being opposed to the mixtape concept, I realized how cool it might be."</quote>
