Tenses

Hello,

Creative works "are" not "were", unless they no longer exist. For example: you would not refer to the Mona Lisa as "was a painting", because it clearly "is a painting".

Take care, Matthew 10:26, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

OK, I just assumed past tense applied because the show has ended. Assumptions can be wrong sometimes! ;-) Randee15 11:04, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
It's an easy mistake to make. So don't worry about it :-)! Matthew 14:08, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

For catching that month error on Maria Kaczyńska, may be my mistake or a sneaky vandal, of which there have been a few ie saying the plane was shot down. I HAVE to get some sleep soon so if you can keep an eye out It would be good. Enjoy cookie. Happy Editing! --220.101.28.25 (talk) 00:33, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the cookie! :-D I'm a born-and-bred patriotic Canadian, but a head of state and his spouse dying like the Kaczyńskis did is shocking no matter what your nationality, so I followed Maria Kaczyńska's article after reading her husband's from the Main Page. And I just happened to notice the month discrepancy for Marta, so I corrected it, as is my nitpicky editor nature.
This is a roundabout way of saying that, unfortunately, I likely won't be watching the Kaczyński articles any further. I'm not a steady editor, I just tend to surf articles and fix minor errors/mistakes when/if I spot them.
Nevertheless, I hope you have a great night's sleep; being a dedicated editor of Polish political articles must be a nightmare right now! :-) Randee15 (talk) 01:43, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
Hmmm, coooookieeees.
Indeed, the political fallout from this, no idea where it could lead. Remember Rwanda when their head of state died in a plane crash?, 1994 and it was an assasination apparently. Doubt if that was foreseen. Others are on the vandal/ troll look out so no worries.
Night?, NIGHT? UTC + 10 so it's nearly and/or is past midday here in Oz. :-O I will get to sleep 'eventually', whether it's today is the question! I'm not into Polish stuff, just whatever is happening means articles need updating, vandals need whacking. I've almost had that article to myself, while her hubbys was protected almost immediately. Always related articles others don't think of to fix. Seems to me a stub bio. article tends to get expanded when the subject dies! eg Fess Parker aka Daniel Boone.
Hope to see you round. Ay? ;-D --220.101.28.25 (talk) 02:28, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
