Sources?
[edit]So what sources do you actually have? I've asked you many times what your sources are. You never reply. If you're referring to Ecemaml's carefully selected quotes, those are not sources. As noted at WP:RSN#Is a cite reliable if it is 3rd hand?
“ | Editors are not allowed to use material from sources they have not seen. If they have not seen the sources — complete and with the material or quote in its full context, none of this "snippet" nonsense — then they cannot use them. If they don't have (have not seen) such sources as are authoritative for that topic then I would question their competence to do any substantial editing of the article. | ” |
If you've bought some books, great, care to share what you've got and ideally when you bought them? Wee Curry Monster talk 16:32, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- I had a fair selection from the library last year. They went back when you had time out. I've now re-accumulated some and am getting more, being careful to say where I got things - you may have noticed some specific disclaimers. I hope this helps. Richard Keatinge (talk) 16:56, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- No it does not, this is supposed to be an open co-operative project and unless you're open with how you are sourcing material it helps not one jot. I don't see why you wouldn't name your sources. You see having an extensive library I am dumb founded at the claim your edit gives due weight to the events of 1704. Wee Curry Monster talk 20:26, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
