Transgender sexuality
[edit]Thanks for your edits to Transgender sexuality. Bravo for adding a citation in your very first edit. Unfortunately, I had to revert your edits, as the wording was unclear and it's hard to know what your intent was. Please try again, or open a section on the article talk page (Talk:Transgender sexuality) to discuss your desired change(s).
While we're on the subject: certain controversial or sensitive areas of the encyclopedia are under a special, stricter set of rules than most articles are. Anything having to do with gender, including transgender, is one of these areas. This is an especially difficult topic area in which a new editor can learn the ropes here, so you might want to consider editing in another topic area, while you are still coming up to speed. If you wish to continue at the Transgender article, you may, but please read the summary statement about this. I'll add a copy-paste of this boilerplate from ArbCom below. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me. Mathglot (talk) 08:09, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
Standard ArbCom notice about Gender-related topics
[edit]Tm1984, here's the standard notice I mentioned above. Please have a read-through, especially if you plan on editing any gender-related articles:
Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to, (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions. You may delete this section once you've read it, if you wish. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 08:13, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
