Welcome to Wikipedia, Wibbit23! I'm Begocc, and I've been assigned as your mentor. About half of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor chosen randomly from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here to get help from the wider community.

I have sent you a note about a page you started

[edit]

Hi Wibbit23. Thank you for your work on Pediatric neurology. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

It was surprising that this didn't exist! It's been marked by others as a stub, and you may still be working on it, but well-warrants inclusion. The hatnotes are appropriate. The more-developed page on Pediatric gastroenterology might give some ideas as to how this page could expand; for example, through a discussion of the history of the development of the specialty.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hi there! Thanks so much for reviewing and giving feedback! I look forward to expanding the page here soon! Wibbit23 (talk) 03:31, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Yaseen Abdalla

[edit]

Hello Wibbit23, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Yaseen Abdalla, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Yaseen Abdalla.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|FuzzyMagma}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Your submission at Articles for creation: Beyond the Robot has been accepted

[edit]
Beyond the Robot, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. It is commonplace for new articles to start out as stubs and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Chicago marathon course.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:10, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature

[edit]

Hello, Wibbit23,

I was reviewing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/International Aerospace Quality Group and I can not read your username because you have the entire signature covered by a big black box. Please change your signature so that it is easily readable by other editors. If it hadn't included a link here, I'd never have known what your username was. Luckily, it led me here. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:17, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Liz: Hi there. Thanks for the concern, and for reaching out regarding this situation. It would appear that there must be an issue somewhere on your end, as I have never had anyone note this issue, and I just checked and my signature is indeed appearing in a readable format. I will attach my source code below, so you will be able to see I do not have a black box anywhere in my signature. Thanks.

Hope this helps, if you see any issues feel free to let me know. Thanks again for reaching out. Wibbit23 (talk) 23:00, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
