Welcome to Wikipedia
[edit]Hi, Wilsongirls90; I am guessing that you either are or are related to the subject of Natasha Wilson. Thank you for the correction; I was just going by what was (rather confusingly) printed in the Whanganui Chronicle story (all the content in Wikipedia, particularly of living people, has to be backed up by reliable published sources independent of the subject). If you notice any other inaccuracies, especially from an incorrect source, could you make a note of them in a new section on the Talk page of the article, which will bring them to the attention of other editors? And ideally supply a more accurate published reference we could use instead. There are conflict-of-interest rules that prevent anyone connected with an article from editing it, but I'll do my best to help out. Kind regards —Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 09:39, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
Another editor's pointed out that the corrected sentence is contradicted by the Whanganui Chronicle article cited, so I've taken both versions out until we can locate a published source that talks about Alfred Te Rupe Wilson and Toroa Wirihana Rupe (Facebook posts aren't considered good enough to cite unfortunately). If you can point me to a published source that would be great. Cheers,—Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 20:47, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
