So yeah, the major changes include putting the number in the Pokémon's name field, combining their types into one line, replacing "Beginning of evolution" with "—", removing table colors, and putting the Japanese name in the notes section. ::I really love this idea! I think I would prefer, in the case of dual typing, to have each color take up half of the vertical space, thus there being a split in the middle. I had thought about a format with notes in a separate row like the plot in [[Pokémon: Indigo League#Episode list]] but it has both ups and downs, e.g. not working with rowspans like [[Lotad]] or [[Rotom]]. Small comment on the current format [https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=List_of_generation_III_Pok%C3%A9mon&oldid=1214916360#Treecko]: The Pokedex number is on its own line, applies to the whole cell, and comes after a name in parentheses which only applies to its own line in the cell. With these circumstances I would prefer [https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokedex/0252 #0252] without parentheses over the current ([https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokedex/0252 0252]). :I'd say the Regi should probably just utilize whatever terms are discussed in reliable sources. Something like "The group has been alternatively been referred to as the Legendary Giants[1], Legendary Titans[2] and the Regi[3]" as an example. Obviously wording and such would be different, but I think you see my point.
