<td><font color=black>After discovering Wiki at the end of January 2003, I initially wrote mostly on the British railway system, the British coinage, British commercial television, and naval battles of the First World War, but over the years I've spread my interests all over the place and currently have nearly 5000 articles on my watchlist. I am easily distracted, so my train of thought tends to get derailed by another interest, but sooner or later I'll get round to completing everything I've started!

While trying to avoid editcountitis, last time [[Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits|I looked]], in July 2022, I was the 4698th most prolific editor on the English Wikipedia, which seems a nicely obscure position to be. I appear to have dropped around 1600 places since the last time I looked, nearly 6 years earlier, and 3600 places in 14 years, largely due to me having written about most of what I have any expertise of!
