Her father was posted to [[Fort Huachuca]], [[Arizona]], and they lived in [[Sierra Vista, Arizona]]. Her father's next post took them to [[Fort Jackson (South Carolina)|Fort Jackson]], [[South Carolina]] where they lived on base. Her family moved to [[Marktsteft]] and then to [[Kitzingen]] in, then, [[Germany|West Germany]]. After living there for a few years, her father was posted to [[Fort Ord]], [[California]]. This was the last military post on which she would live. When her father retired, her family moved to [[Frederick, Maryland]]. They briefly lived in [[Brunswick, Maryland]]. She now lives in [[Woodsboro, Maryland]] with her [[fiancé]]. She has gone back to [[Germany]] on a student exchange program. She has briefly visited [[Mexico]] and [[France]].

Her Wikipedia activities were mostly in [[Help:Template|template]] construction. She tried to help anyone who needed when designing and fixing templates. However, she has been away from templates so long, she has not been able to keep up with the new technology used in them.

She is usually [[barefoot]] when editing Wikipedia articles, except when her feet get cold making her wear [[sock]]s or [[slipper]]s.

== Pets ==
She has a [[cat]] named [[Nybble]], who was given to them on 30 March 2016. Her cat Cache, previously owned by her mother and named Cash, died on 8 March 2016. Her cat Peepers died on 8 January 2010. She has had two other cats with her fiancé, Percher and Snowball, both deceased. While she lived with her mother and siblings, her family owned several cats: Critter, Casey, and Pepper; and dogs: Blackie and Tabitha; and a bird: Tweeter.

== Computing ==
She uses both [[Debian]] and [[Windows XP]] [[operating system]]s on separate computers. Her [[desktop environment]] on Debian is [[KDE]]. She uses [[Firefox]] to browse the internet with [[Google]] as her preferred search engine. She connects with [[HexChat]] to chat on [[Internet Relay Chat|IRC]]. She instant messages with [[Trillian (software)|Trillian]]. She does most of her off-line editing using [[Geany]] until [[Notepad++]] gets a Linux version. She uses [[LibreOffice]] sparingly.

== Games ==
Her favorite off-line computer games are those produced by [[PopCap Games]], and she enjoys playing [[gaps]], [[tri peaks (game)|tri peaks]], and [[spider solitaire]] with [[AisleRiot]]. Off of the computer, she had played [[Dungeons & Dragons]], though she is now taking an extended break from it. She likes putting together [[jigsaw puzzle]]s. She also enjoys playing [[chess]], [[mahjong]], and [[spades]].

== Interests ==
When she was young, she was simultaneously interested in [[astronomy]] and [[mythology]]. From her interest in those fields, she became interested in the various fields of [[divination]]. Her interest in [[gemstone]]s, and minor interest in [[mineralogy]], sprang from playing [[Dungeons & Dragons]], which interested her in titles of [[nobility]] and [[geography]]. She is only mildly interested in [[politics]] and then only in theoretical applications.
