Unless a redirect was itself G10 able, the main question about a post-AfD redirect is whether or not it should have the contents of the deleted article in history. If you delete a G11-eligible article about a CEO but he's mentioned at his company's article, that might be a good reason to leave history deleted with a redirect. For most deletions on the basis of non-notability with a good redirect target (fiction and popular culture, for instance), leaving the history intact is preferred because it allows non-admins to review the history for improvement and possible un-redirection if and when it demonstrate notability.
