One explicitly mentions Mayor Street as being in Dublin 1 and in the docklands, another mentions a site in Dublin 2 as being in the docklands, and the third mentions Barrow Street as being in Dublin 4 and being part of the then-bourgeoning docklands. It is possible to both say that the docklands lies within these postal districts and that it is roughly defined. They aren't mutually exclusive IMO. I understand the need for referencing. :) undo
  • curprev 18:4818:48, 15 August 2021 Guliolopez talk contribs 13,909 bytes −713 Removing. I have looked, and cannot find any sources to support this. It seems that some of the southern-most parts of the Docklands Strategic Development Zone overlap with the northern-most part of Dublin 4 But I can find no verifiable sources that readily support this. Not without lots and lots of synth... undo Tag: Manual revert

This Irish Times article doesn't mention Dublin 1, 2 or 4. How does it support the text? Is the verifier supposed to do a search for Barrow Street (which is mentioned), and confirm for themselves that it's in Dublin 4? (And, even if they do, how is the rest of the text supported? In all honesty, I don't understand why this is here. Given that it can't seemingly be readily supported...) undo Tag: Reverted
  • curprev 18:2418:24, 15 August 2021 BaronNethercross talk contribs 14,538 bytes +365 Google's HQ on Barrow Street in D04 is often cited as being in the Dublin Docklands in the news. As I wrote, it really is the fringes and it depends on definitions of what the docklands is. Is Grand Canal Dock in the Docklands? I would argue yes, and news sources sometimes cite it as being so. This is solidly in D04. Not attached to this edit by any means and don't want an edit war, so remove if needed. :) undo Tag: Reverted

And yet we seem to be able to define very specific boundaries which align with postcodes. Which part of the Docklands is in Dublin 4 for example? undo Tag: Reverted
