The wings still seemed pretty curved, until I noticed that it was the straight FRONT edge, but the rest still curved. I noticed that this picture of an early E model depicted the early stepped cockpit well, and the picture also shows the slow curve out to the wing tip of the front edge. I felt that this was a perfect illustration, so I added to the picture's caption. undo

Both were produced at the same time, and both were sent to fight with the Condor Legion in Spain. The He 111 proved superior, and Junkers went on to develop the Ju 88, which turned out to be their best bomber in WWII. Actually both Junkers models, the Ju 86 AND the Ju 88 went up against the long-serving He 111. undo
