That LSD produced "intense" and "long lasting" psychotic symptoms in users, which there is no evidence for and which likely originated with the myth that LSD is stored in the spine after use. Any hallucinogenic drug is contraindicated for individuals with psychotic disorders and who are at risk for developing them, but the drug class of hallucinogen does not properly fit the description for psychotomimetic. undo Tag: Visual edit
