  • curprev 20:1320:13, 9 October 2024 Artsunlimited427 talk contribs 146,904 bytes −42 Neisser et al (1996) reports " In more than a dozen studies from the 1960s and 1970s analyzed by Flynn (1991), the mean IQs of Japanese and Chinese American children were always around 97 or 98; none was over 100." The statement "higher than" misrepresents the source's findings. Reynolds et al writes "as well as or better than" but states "for a readable view of this research see Neisser et al 1966" which indicates they misinterpreted the 1996 APA statement. Removed as a secondhand source.
