St. Silvia who is the mother of Pope Saint Gregory I (the Great) is widely acknowledged to be from Sicily, although some suggest she might be from Rome, but NOT the Aquitaine. Many of the other claims in this entry might also be incorrect. There is another Wikipedia entry that correctly identifies in Silvia of Sicily as the mother of Pope Saint Gregory the great. My sense is this entry on St. Silvia of Aquitaine should likely be simply deleted undo Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit
