Isidore Ducasse is published in the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade, which, according to wikipedia, “is considered a major sign of recognition for an author in France” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblioth%C3%A8que_de_la_Pl%C3%A9iade). Additionally, the work is not simply “literary criticism”, it is as much “poetry” and “poems”, like the title claims, as it is “literary criticism”. undo
