Mister Monday<br/> |
R to section |
Before she met Arthur Penhaligon Suzy Turquoise Blue was an Ink-Filler who followed the Piper many years ago. During her life on Earth, Suzy was living during the Plague as Suzy Dyer. She met Arthur who was on the run from Nithlings, creatures that could kill with a single bite. At this time, Suzy had The Will of the Architect in the form of a jade frog down her throat.Suzy and Arthur had to go on the improbable stair so that the Will led them to defeating Mister Monday. At this point, Suzy was made Monday's Tierce, the assistant of the new Monday's Noon (formerly Monday's Dusk). |

Grim Tuesday<br/> |
In Grim Tuesday, Suzy was sent to find Arthur, who was deep in the Far Reaches. There, they found the second part of the Will and Arthur defeated Grim Tuesday in a contest of creation. |

Drowned Wednesday<br/> |
In Drowned Wednesday Suzy appears much later in the book, taking on the appearance of a well-groomed polite young woman, as a request from the Will as long as she is on the Border Sea. "Suzanna Monday's Tierce" has Arthur fooled completely with her appearance until they have submerged beneath the Border Sea, where she can behave in her own, somewhat cantankerous ways again because they are no longer on the Border Sea, but below it. |
Sir Thursday<br/> |
Unlike in Drowned Wednesday, Suzy is present almost from the beginning, appearing just as Arthur and Leaf are trying to exit the House. She volunteers for the Glorious Army of the Architect when Arthur receives Sir Thursday's Shilling, but is rejected. Later on, Leaf phones her from Arthur's house telling her she has the pocket that the Skinless Boy was created from. Suzy takes it from her, knocks her out to stop the Skinless Boy's virus from taking over, meets Arthur's sibling Michaeli, and finally avoids Nithlings guarding the gateway to the House, currently floating above the Hospital in Arthur's world. |
Inside the door, she meets Superior Saturday's Noon, but is saved by the Lieutenant Keeper of the Door. She is later accepted by the Glorious Army, on the basis that Sir Thursday needs Piper's Children to travel on the Improbable Stair with him. She runs into Arthur again, and together they travel to tile 500/500, the center of the Great Maze to help Sir Thursday destroy the Piper's Spike. Unfortunately, the Piper arrives and, living up to his name, freezes the Piper's Children, including Suzy. Arthur is forced to flee, and nothing else is known of Suzy for the rest of the book. |

Lady Friday<br/> |
In Lady Friday, Suzy (along with Fred Initial Numbers Gold) has been forced to join the Piper's army of the now called 'Newniths'. She and Fred are bound by the Piper not to disobey, or talk, or even think about disobeying him. She and Fred are freed by Arthur with the Fourth Key relatively early in the book. |
