Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Jaqueline Lovell, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thanks for uploading :File:CeltX version 2.7.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. |
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:06, 27 November 2010 (UTC) |

Thanks for uploading :Image:Quincy 2 at Quincy CA excursion in 50s.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. |
==Trisquel== |
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use GFDL to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as Non-free fair use in or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. |

Thanks for your contribution to this article, but by longstanding consensus operating systems that use the Linux kernel are called "Linux" on Wikipedia. "GNU/Linux" is considered a minority POV term used by the FSF and its supporters. The term is only used to describe distros when the distro itself is called "GNU/Linux" and then only when referring to the distro itself. If you want to change this consensus then the way to go about is not by trying to insert the term GNU/Linux into articles on distributions, such as on Trisquel. You should read Talk:Linux including all the archives of that page, to get the history of the problem as well as Talk:Linux/Name as this is where past consensuses have been formed. You will also want to read naming controversy and its talk page as background as well. When you have the history of the consensus read then you can present your case at Talk:Linux to try to convince the other editors that all references "Linux" other than to the kernel itself in Wikipedia should be changed to "GNU/Linux". - Ahunt (talk) 00:49, 28 November 2012 (UTC) |

==Ted L. Nancy== |
Consider the follow quotes from . |
<blockquote>Nut may use Seinfeld as its bait, but Jerry is no nut himself. Even though there have been three bestsellers by the mysteriously named author "Ted L. Nancy" that played on the question of Seinfeld's involvement, I can tell you without a doubt that Jerry is no Nancy. |
== Linux, etc == |
Indeed, this column has mentioned several times over the last couple of years that the author of the best-selling Letters from a Nut books is none other than the prospective TV show's executive producer, Barry Marder.</blockquote> |
Please see the discussion at :Talk:LibreOffice#Linux vs GNU/Linux. The same applies at the GIMP article. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:37, 24 May 2013 (UTC) |

<blockquote>I thought it was pretty funny when I read the wire story. Either they're in on the joke and don't want to expose it, or they really think Seinfeld is the pseudonymous author Ted L. Nancy. |
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on :GIMP. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.<br> |
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states: |
# Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts. |
# Do not edit war even if you believe you are right. |
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. == Proposed deletion of :Travelers 3 == |
The article :Travelers 3 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern: |
I can assure you he is not. But Marder, who also is famous for getting a pastrami sandwich with Seinfeld on the afternoon before Jerry's wedding to Jessica Sklar, is — and he deserves to have his own hit now. I look forward to the show next winter.</blockquote> |
<blockquote>Does not meet WP:NBAND, no indication of notability</blockquote> |
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons. |
To me that sounds like the author of column (Roger Friedman) is making the assertion that Ted L. Nancy is a pseudonym of Barry Marder. What is your interpretation? |
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the proposed deletion/dated notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. |
As for naming the person in the article you can do that, but the URL is there for people to check the source if they want to, so it's not an anonymous person and unverifiable. Qutezuce 07:18, 25 January 2006 (UTC) |

Orphaned non-free media (File:Inger Nilsson.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Inger Nilsson.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:14, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
License tagging for File:CeltX version 2.7.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:CeltX version 2.7.png.
--ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:06, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

You will also want to read GNU/Linux naming controversy and its talk page as background as well. When you have the history of the consensus read then you can present your case at Talk:Linux to try to convince the other editors that all references "Linux" other than to the kernel itself in Wikipedia should be changed to "GNU/Linux". - Ahunt (talk) 00:49, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry case
[edit]Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/HeWhoE for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. - SudoGhost 05:31, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- You're on record for FSF POV edit-warring. Don't start it again. Yworo (talk) 13:45, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on GIMP. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Codename Lisa (talk) 13:55, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
The article Travelers 3 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:NBAND, no indication of notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rusf10 (talk) 04:05, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
