I discovered Wikipedia back in 2007, but didn't begin actively editing until years later. I tend to edit as impartially as possible. When I start to feel emotions creeping up on an article, I usually unwatch it and move on. I primarily remove content from Wikipedia and add tags requesting someone swing by to add reliably sourced information. I do this not out of laziness, but out of my schedule. I work for the US Air Force and edit Wikipedia when I am not actively working. I usually have 5 - 10 minute windows leaving me just enough time to find a page and delete obviously bad content. Just writing this biography has taken me 5 - 6 breaks. |

Many users have expressed their dislike of my dislike of Wikilove. I have been here long enough to have a very broad understanding of Wikilove and its purpose. That said, I believe that Wikilove is used far too often to curry favor and impartiality on Wikipedia. I often see users handing out barnstars, or plates of cookies or what-have-you for editing things in ways that indirectly take their "side" in a wiki-argument. I strongly believe that impartiality is a critical component to the project and that any editor with a strong opinion on a subject has no business '''removing''' content from the related article. (However, I think strong opinions really help '''additions''' to articles. Some of the best articles on Wikipedia are largely in part to very passionate editors.) I digress. My feeling on Wikilove is that if I partake in it, I will inevitably be persuaded by it thereby compromising my ability to impartially edit. |

On Wikilove
[edit]Many users have expressed their dislike of my dislike of Wikilove. I strongly believe that impartiality is a critical component to the project and that any editor with a strong opinion on a subject has no business removing content from the related article. (However, I think strong opinions really help additions to articles. Some of the best articles on Wikipedia are largely in part to very passionate editors.) I digress. My feeling on Wikilove is that if I partake in it, I will inevitably be persuaded by it thereby compromising my ability to impartially edit.
On Myself
[edit]I am a human. I have red hair. I am genetically from Scotland. I was born and raised in California. I was born on April 23, 1992 . I am a male. I love playing video games. Especially with my wife. My favorite food is egg-salad sandwiches. I like them so much that I will eat them until I am very bloated and sick feeling.
On My Goals
[edit]I edit Wikipedia for fun and for edification. I primarily strive to remove all content that does not belong whether that be articles, edits, sections, or users that shouldn't be part of the project. I often find myself in conflict with Wikipedia editors due to removing their content or stubbing it with a request for sources. Though I have been often accused of having an agenda, it's usually a case of projection. I take care not to edit pages that I have an opinion on.
