'''''The Boys + Girls EP''''' is an [[Extended play|EP]] released by [[The Promise Ring]]. This was the first Promise Ring recording to feature new bassist, Scott Schoenbeck, after original bassist Scott Beschta left the band after rumors -- since proven false [http://www.cmykyle.com/clips.php?id=119&page=9] -- spread throughout the indie scene that he'd raped a girl at a party. After getting into a car accident (which everyone miraculously survived), they wrote the song "Tell Everyone We're Dead," which ended up becoming one of their more popular songs.
