==Early years==
Maxx Frank was born Clarence N. Frank on June 25, 1966 in [[Hammond, Indiana]]. He is the son of a 6th grade school teacher and [[U.S. Marine Corps|Marine]] and a [[Church of God in Christ]] [[pastor]]. Maxx began playing the piano at the age of 3 years old and by the age of 12 was the main organist at his father's church. He is the 5th child of 7 siblings. He has 5 children Amillio, Alexx, Arielle, Ashlee, and Carrington Frank. Clarence has a love for music that expands across culture and genre. He plays drums, organ, piano, and saxophone.

==Musical career==
Maxx began his professional career with the [[Gospel music]] group, [[The Winans]]. Later he joined the gospel group [[Commissioned (gospel group)|Commissioned]].

He has produced and written songs for Commissioned, [[Fred Hammond]], [[Carman]], [[The Winans]], [[98 Degrees]], Handel’s Messiah, Jesse Campbell, Dawkins & Dawkins, and [[Yolanda Adams]].
