Maxx Frank was born Clarence N. Frank on June 25, 1966 in [[Hammond, Indiana]]. He is the son of a sixth-grade school teacher and a [[U.S. Marine Corps|Marine]]. Maxx began playing the piano at the age of 3 years old and by the age of 12 was the main organist at his father's church. He is the fifth child of seven siblings. He is married to Sonya Renee Frank. He has five children from his previous marriage: Amillio(oldest), Alexx(second oldest), Arielle(Third oldest),Ashlee(fourth oldest), by a Latino American and Carrington Frank(the youngest, by a different mother). Maxx plays drums, organ, piano, and saxophone. |

Maxx began his professional career with the [[Gospel music]] group, [[The Winans]] 1985-1989. Later he joined the gospel group [[Commissioned (gospel group)|Commissioned]] 1990-1997. |
