Perfect World

It is set around the life of Bob Slay, a marketing executive for a leading tolietries, Bob has a swish office, a bikini-on-a-stick supermodel girlfriend and is well regarded by his manager. All of which is massively surprising, as he is the most obnoxious, lazy, amoral phoney to ever put his highly-polished shoes to rest on the office table!

The television show was written by Mark Grant (who would later go on to write Star) and Mark Chapman who was a co-writer for the second series and provided additional material for the first series. Mark Chapman also directed the first series and produced both series a with Nick Wood directing the second. The shows other producer was Lucy Robinson (who produced the first Dennis Pennis installment and played the mayoress in The Thin Blue Line) and had executive producers Danielle Lux (All About Me) and Charles Brand (The Comic Strip Presents...).

This was Paul Kaye's final appearance as a recurring cast member in a television series as of 30th August 2006 and was Derran Litten's (Vaughn) second recurring television appearance. The television show has been refered to mamy times as a sitcom that was only made off the success of the Dennis Pennis episodes made for BBC. There is also many connections between Perfect World and The New Statesman.

Paul Kaye said in an interview regarding the series- "I've never really worked in an office but it was the way I imagined you'd keep sane - I mean an office is sort of like an extended playground, isn't it? So the guy does absolutely no work and the only way he can relieve the tedium is by behaving despicably and I think the whole office would actually be sad if he left because it would suddenly be all very mundane. I mean I'm sure that's the case in a lot of real offices - it's like on reality-TV shows, everyone quite likes the bad guy in the Big Brother house, really."

Tasche de Vasconcelos who plays Lauren in the first series said- "It's a great show, I'm just so proud to have been able to do it. It's brilliantly written". She later went on to describe Paul as "a wonderful actor and co-partner he was so professional".

This is a review of the first episode of series one- "The stylish opening to this new office-centered, six-part situation comedy introduces Bob Slay, the ultimate marketing man. Paul Kaye (well known as spoof interviewer Dennis Pennis), stars as a slick and selfish operator with a saccharine tongue who occasionally justifies his behaviour in asides to the camera. His only real area of vulnerability is his parentage - he was abandoned as a baby. That makes him particularly nervous when he has to meet his gorgeous girlfriend Lauren's parents for the first time. The plotting is quite convoluted in this distinctly adults-only opener, but it has its moments. The best of them involve the marketing director, played by Michael Cochrane as a sex-mad monster who steals all the best lines. Even he confesses to being a little over-eager with Lauren's mother, played by Jan Harvey."

Episode Guide

Series One 1. Parents - Bob desperatly attempts to impress his girlfriends parents 2. Deadline - Bob has to present the most important presentation in the companies history that both he and Vaughn have spent one month preparing yet Vaughn discovers two hours before the presentation is due to start that Bob has yet to start the project. 3. Tarquin - After an unfortunate bumping into the company assessor during a lunch Bob decides to mend the damage by pretending to be his twin brother Tarquin. 4. Charity – Bob becomes enemies with Scotsman Spencer in a competiton to raise more money for charities week. 5. Money – Bob needs to stop maggie from taking up a new job. 6. Love – Bob tries to help Vaughn cheer up after losing his girlfriend Briony, yet ends up making matters worse.

Series Two

1. Revenge – Bob to make a mockery of Maggie via an internet dating service but Maggie plans revenge, also Mr. Marketing Director dabbles in homosexuality. 2. Family Values - Russian visitors to the office cause major upheaval for Bob and Maggie, whose antics include posing as man and wife. Also, a 24-hour webcam is set up in Bob's office - with amusing results. 3. Home: The marketing director is kicked out by his wife - and decides to move in with Bob. However, in between girlfriends, Bob is temporarily homeless and 'borrows' the keys to Vaughan's uncle's flat while he is away. 4. Best Man: Vaughan and Briony are about to be married. Their pre-nuptial agreement includes the proviso that Bob will not be best man, but Vaughan is too scared to tell him. 5. Fast-Track: Maggie is chosen by a newspaper as the subject of an article about women in the workplace. But she soon finds herself being eclipsed by her new assistant - who is poached first by Bob and then by the Marketing director in a meteoric rise through the company. 6. Graduates: After Bob brags about his fake university qualifications, Maggie volunteers him to give a careers talk in an effort to boost graduate recruitment in the company. 7. Mutiny: Bob returns from an extended holiday to find that Vaughan has taken over his office and his job, and immediately plans his comeback.

Criticisms With Series Two

Series Two didn’t have to many differences to the first series but the small changes it did have caused certain criticisms by reports of the show. One of the changes criticised was that the Marketing Directors character had become much more of a central character and with this came many more sexual innuendos and references, to which some people believed was simply too rude for the style of the show. Another criticism was made due to Paul Kaye’s new haircut, which was long, black and in many episodes rather scruffy, this gave the feel that Bob Slay wasn’t as organised as he was in the first series and that he wasn’t to sensitive to what people thought of his image which couldn’t be more opposite to his true ambitions.

Releases

Perfect World Series One was released on VHS in 2000, it lasted approximately 174 minutes and was rated 18, presumably for the Marketing Directors sexual implications and Bob Slays use of the F word in Love. The video has been discontinued and there is no plans for releasing Series One or Two to be released on DVD.

No Junk Mail is an Australian rock band from Melbourne, Australia. The band currently consists of Andrew Le (lead vocals/backup guitar), David Stackpole (lead guitarist/backup vocals), Hasan (drums), and is currently looking for a full-time bass player. The band was formed by Andrew Le and David Stackpole in 2005.

The members of No Junk Mail listen to a wide variety of music, varying from easy listening bands such as Dashboard Confessional all the way to heavier bands such as Hawthorne Heights and Story of the Year. Because of this wide variety of music taste among the band members, the band is able to play songs of many genres, though the band mostly writes songs of a punk/pop/emo genre. No Junk Mail is currently writing songs for their debut EP, but in the mean time are performing covers of more popular songs to prove their tallents to the youth while their own material is being written. The band will be competeing at The Battle Of The Bands held at Glen Waverley Secondary College on the 8th of September 2006. The band will be playing covers of "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" by My Chemical Romance, "Johnny B Goode" by Chuck Berry, and "Who's Gonna Save Us" by The Living End. The band's debut album is rumoured to be titled "Glen Waverley: The New Asia" in referance to the suburb the band members attend school, as it is becoming increasingly over-populated by Asians. The title of the EP is ironic because of the fact that one of the band members (Andrew Le) is infact Asian himself.

Dean Parker

Parker composed music for the film "Anne B. Real" (2003) directed by Lisa France. A sound design he created for the Mabou Mines production "Cara Lucia" (2003) earned him an American Theatre Wing Henry Hewes Design Award nomination. He has worked as assistant to film composer Carter Burwell on several projects. Parker produced music for the Coen brothers film "Intolerable Cruelty" (2003).

He currently resides in New York City.

CF Rowdy

CF Rowdy is the name of the supporting firm for the Chagrin Falls Highschool Boys and Girls Soccer teams. Dressing in black and orange, CF Rowdy can be seen storming the upper left corner of Chagrin's bleachers in order to support their favorite soccer club. Though numerous in male members, CF Rowdy has never been known to engage in acts of violence against opposing firms.

John Patrick Kline was born in Helena Montana in 1963. His musical and academic career carried him around the US from the late 1980's to the early 21st century. Recognized for his guitar playing, production, versatility, and composition at various internet music sites including "garageband.com" and "guitarwar.com," his independently released CD, "Instrumental Conditioning" (CD Baby, 2006) is gaining national and international notoriety. Starsky Wong

Starsky Ho Yin Wong was born in Hong Kong. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2002 with an M.Phil degree. During his time in college, he met Marti Wong and they both developed the famous window platform game Little Fighter 2 (LF2). Starsky is now pursuing his Ph.D at the University of California at Los Angeles, researching on wireless networks.

Mission Halo

Mission Halo is a text RPG Based on the Halo videogame franchise. It was originally created by Tucker49 on a forum hosting service called "Proboards". Players would sign up on the site and then join an army. Either the UNSC or the Covenant. (in most cases) They would then train using the weapons and vehicles from the Halo universe. Once they were done with training, they would go into battles and fight alongside fellow soldiers. The RPG did well for a while, but then it seemed to lose activity, so the creator, Tucker49, shut it down and closed it. Mission Halo didn't make anymore apearances on the web for a good while after that. But then a new remake of the site was made by Connor Lows using a forum hosting service called Jconserv. It is currently in construction and should be opened shortly.

John Northern Hilliard

Hilliard was employed by the well known magician, Howard Thurston. In his spare time, he wrote "Greater Magic", which includes his own essays on magic, and descriptions of hundreds of tricks he saw performed by the great professional magicians of his day.

Long Bay Jail Hope Album

In 1993 the Hope Album was published through Warner Chapel Music Australia. The album was released in 1994 and caused a media frenzy on Channel 7 News, Channel 9 Today Show, Channel 10 News and several newspapers. A highlight of the Hope album launch was a concert performed at the childrens hospital in Camperdown,Sydney Australia. Many inmates from the jail were involved and the album was produced and recorded by Vincent Ruello. This was the first time an album was recorded inside an Australian jail with songs from the inmates. The Hope album became a catalyst in inmate rehab programmes Australia wide. Vincent Ruello received a commendation from the Commissioner of NSW Jails The Honorable Neville Smethurst.Vincent Ruello was medically retired from the Department Of Corrective Services in 1996.

Clarence Callahan is a character in the game Need for Speed Most Wanted.Because Clarence Callahan has a sizeable reputation in Rockport(the city on which the game is based on)he is nicknamed 'Razor'. Razor is the main antagonist in the game and thus, at the begining of the player's carrer he sabotages and wins the player's car. Razor then uses the player's car to get the top position in what is called the'Blacklist'.Later in the game the player races him and reclaims his ride.

Festival Park Iowa

Festival Park is a themed entertainment event center in Des Moines, Iowa. It is built to resembled an Old English Village with approximately 50 buildings, including a large castle facade. It opened on Labor Day Weekend 2006 with the Des Moines Renaissance Faire, and will host other events such as an October Pumpkin Fest and Harvest Fair, a Country Music Jam, and Victorian/Dickens Christmas event. The facility is also used for weddings and corporate events.

It is constructed on 20 acres of property just east of the Iowa State Fairgrounds at Sleepy Hollow Sports Park. Festival Park, themed to 16th century England, joines another Des Moines theme park, Living History Farms, which is themed to 1800s America.

Giorgio Parisi (04/08/1948 - today) is full professor at University of Rome I La Sapienza. He gained the Boltzmann Medal in 1992 and the Dirac Medal and Prize in 1999. The activity of Giorgio Parisi's ranges in the field of elementary particles, theory of phase transitions and statistical mechanics, mathematical physics and string theory, disordered systems, neural networks theoretical immunology, computers and very large scale simulations of QCD (the APE project), non-equilibrium statistical physics.

John Makinson

John Makinson is an internationally recognised and highly influential businessman – currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Penguin Group, and also a non-executive director of George Weston ltd in Canada. After completing his degree at Cambridge University, John started working as a journalist, first at Reuters and then at the Financial Times, where he edited the influential Lex column. From there he moved to Saatchi and Saatchi's US Holding Company, before co-founding Makinson Cowell, a specialist independent financial consultancy firm. After 5 years, he returned to the Financial Times to become their managing director, before accepting a job as the Pearson group finance director, where he worked until moving to the Penguin Group - a subsidiary of the afore mentioned Pearson Group.

He has used his knowledge of Business, amongst other things, to help compile a report for the British Government, called “Incentives for Change”, and received a CBE from Her Majesty in 2001 for his services to public sector productivity. He was also photographed by Harry Borden for the National Portrait Gallery in Britain, as he is widely known and respected figure in the Business, and particularly the Publishing, community.

Ioan Adrian Teaha, (Born in Arad, Romania in December of 1983) is an Romanian-Australian who is considered to be one of Australia’s bright new future academic leaders.

A student at the prestigious University of New England in New South Wales, at only 22 years of age, he hit the Australian acadamic writing scene with the second edition of his book titled 'Answers to Questions' which was the first ever to tackle controversial questions in areas like republicanism, ethnic diversity, foriegn policy and sexual politics from the perspective and experiences of an Eastern European.

He currently resides in South Australia and has won numerous academic awards, not only for his academic achievements but for his ability to think out side the square. Being nicknamed the ‘prodigy’ he is additionally also already well known for his ability to express law in simple terms, and making it understandable by the non-legal community.

The Malaysian mafia emerged during the early 20th century. The first organized crime groups were the Hai San and the Gee hin.These groups often called the "kongsi gelap" ( the dark force), were established in Malaya(was known as Malaysia now) by Chinese immigrants that were sent down for the construction of buildings.The immigrants established these secret organizations so that they could make extra money by controling the import of drugs.The Malayans enjoyed smoking these drugs and often purchased them from the dealers.During the Japanese occupation,these groups were closed down by the Japanese because they taught that the Malayans would buy the drugs which would affect the Japanese trade. During the 1960's,there were racial wars between the Malays,Chinese and Indians.Each race made their own organization to protect themselves against other races.This was the dawning of the Malaysian(after 1957,Malaya became Malaysia)gangsters.In the 60's ,emerged a notorious gangster,Botak Chin(the bald/shaved Chin).Who committed a series of crimes including extortion from tailors,barbers and restaurants,murder and robberies.In 1974,Botak Chin was shot dead in his home after a police shoot out. After the death of Botak Chin,his gang,'Gang Number 8' still committed crimes,but none compared to the notorious crimes of Botak Chin.There were no more notorious gangsters for another 20 years.In the 90's came Bentong Kallimuthu,who was worse then Botak Chin.The name Bentong is actually a place in Malaysia.Its the place where Kallimuthu lived.Thus,they called him Bentong Kalli.He was also known as the Robbin Hood of Malaysia because he robbed banks and gave the money to the poor.He too was wanted by the police for extortion and murder.Kalli was shot dead by police while hiding in a jungle.After these two crimnals,there were no more like them. Now in Malaysia,schools are wrapped by local and foreign gangsters.Due to confidental reasons,the gangs will not be named.These gangsters run brothels,loan sharking and drug trafficking.A new business has come along too.Its the illegal copying of CD's and DVD's.The Malaysian police is now launching a crack down on all the mafia bosses and gang memebers.

The Muslim Society Of Waterloo, more comonly known as the "Waterloo Masjid" is the Masjid for Muslim residents in Kitchener - Waterloo, Ontario, in Canada. It provides a wide range of facilites such as daily prayers led by the Imam, after-school Arabic classes, funeral services, and many others. They also publish an annual Ramadan timetable.

The Port of Setúbal is a sea-port located in Portugal , 40km south of Lisbon and has a diverse range of infrastructures dedicated to serving ships and shipments of all kinds.

Public Terminals

Multipurpose Terminal – Zone I

Destined to general break bulk cargo and ro ro handling, with 830m of wharf (similar to 5 berths), depth of –9,5m and –10,5m (CD) and 3 600 m2 of covered storage area as well as 10 acres of uncovered storage areas. The wharf has also a slope. 8 cranes with lifting capacity between 5 and 25 tons compose the main equipment.

Multipurpose Terminal – Zone II

It has 4 berths with 725m lengths, depth of –15m (CD) and uncovered storage areas of 23 acres. One Pós Panamax, gantry crane of 45 tons compose the base equipment.

The building works were concluded in 2002, as well as the process of concession of the public service of cargo handling, and the purchase of wharf and park equipment.

Roll-On/Roll-off Terminal

It has 2 berths with 365m lengths and a ro ro slope, depth of –12m (CD) and levelled ground for uncovered storage of 15 acres destined to roll-on/roll-off cargo handling, including the AutoEuropa concessioned levelled ground, which serves the factory of Ford and VW vehicles production, in Palmela, with an uncovered parking zone of 9 acres.

SAPEC Agro, SA Terminal

It has one wharf with 112m lengths for the liquid and solid bulk handling and depth of –10m (CD). Two cranes (one of 16 tons and one of 4 tons) are operating. With resource to floating extensions, may operate on this terminal, vessels with draughts up to 10,5m and 200m lengths. The new liquid bulk terminal, upstream, reinforces this operator capacity.

Private Use Terminals

Secil Terminal

Destined to cement handling, the two working berths have 104 and 98m lengths, a depth of –9 and –7,5m (CD) and have covered and uncovered storage areas. Three cranes (two of 6 tons and one of 3 tons) are operating.

Eurominas Terminal

With one berth of 153m lengths, depth of –10m (CD) and levelled ground for uncovered storage with 16 acres destined to solid bulk handling.

Uralada Terminal

With one berth composed by two dolphins, depth of –6,0m (CD), destined to liquid bulk handling (nourishing oils).

Maurifermentos Terminal

It has one berth, composed by two dolphins, depths of –6,0m (CD), destined to liquid bulk handling (molasses).

ABB –Alstom Power Terminal

It has one berth with 90m lengths, depth of –5m (CD), destined to general cargo handling with an uncovered storage area of 27 000 m2.

Praias do Sado Terminal (ex- Pirites Alentejanas)

Destined to Solid and Liquid bulks, concessioned to private use to the Pirites Alentejanas, Somincor and CPPE, it has one berth with 126m lengths, depth of 9,5m (CD) and an uncovered storage levelled ground with 14 000 m2. It has one crane, which has the conveyor belts system to the ore handling as well as a pipeline for the transport of the oil fuel.

Tanquisado Terminal

Destined to the liquid bulk handling (fuel), it has one bunker, cleanliness and gas freeing vessels park, concessioned to Eco-Oil for private use. It has two berths with 250m lengths, depth of –10,0m (CD) and uncovered storage area. One fixed crane of 3 tons and pipelines for fuel transport compose the equipment.

Return Of The Product is the debut album by rapper MC Serch, released on August 25, 1992 by Def Jam. It was not Serch's debut on record though as he had made two full-length albums with the group 3rd Bass. It was for the most part critically and commercially ignored and only reached #103 on The Billboard 200. It featured one popular single, "Here It Comes/Back To The Grill" which reached #1 on the Hot Rap Singles chart as well as becoming a Billboard 200 and Rhythmic Top 40 hit. The song "Back To The Grill" is notable for featuring a young Nas in one of his first appearences on record. The title of "Back To The Grill" is in fact a reference to "Live At The BBQ" by Main Source, Nas's first appearence on record.

The Truth is the debut album by Philadelphian rapper Beanie Sigel. It was released on October 19, 1999 by Def Jam to positive critical and commercial success. It reached #5 on The Billboard 200 and had three charting remotely popular singles: "Anything", "Remember Them Days" & "The Truth". Beanie Sigel and his debut album were intensely hyped up after "a few dazzling collaborations" according to Matt Conaway of All Music Guide and Conaway says that it "is the culmination of that promise" [5].

It is set around the life of Bob Slay, a marketing executive for a leading tolietries, Bob has a swish office, a bikini-on-a-stick supermodel girlfriend and is well regarded by his manager. All of which is massively surprising, as he is the most obnoxious, lazy, amoral phoney to ever put his highly-polished shoes to rest on the office table! The television show was written by Mark Grant (who would later go on to write Star) and Mark Chapman who was a co-writer for the second series and provided additional material for the first series. Mark Chapman also directed the first series and produced both series a with Nick Wood directing the second. The shows other producer was Lucy Robinson (who produced the first Dennis Pennis installment and played the mayoress in The Thin Blue Line) and had executive producers Danielle Lux (All About Me) and Charles Brand (The Comic Strip Presents...). The television show has been refered to mamy times as a sitcom that was only made off the success of the Dennis Pennis episodes made for BBC. There is also many connections between Perfect World and The New Statesman. Quotes/Reviews Paul Kaye said in an interview regarding the series- "I've never really worked in an office but it was the way I imagined you'd keep sane - I mean an office is sort of like an extended playground, isn't it? So the guy does absolutely no work and the only way he can relieve the tedium is by behaving despicably and I think the whole office would actually be sad if he left because it would suddenly be all very mundane. I mean I'm sure that's the case in a lot of real offices - it's like on reality-TV shows, everyone quite likes the bad guy in the Big Brother house, really." Tasche de Vasconcelos who plays Lauren in the first series said- "It's a great show, I'm just so proud to have been able to do it. It's brilliantly written". She later went on to describe Paul as "a wonderful actor and co-partner he was so professional". This is a review of the first episode of series one- "The stylish opening to this new office-centered, six-part situation comedy introduces Bob Slay, the ultimate marketing man. Paul Kaye (well known as spoof interviewer Dennis Pennis), stars as a slick and selfish operator with a saccharine tongue who occasionally justifies his behaviour in asides to the camera. His only real area of vulnerability is his parentage - he was abandoned as a baby. That makes him particularly nervous when he has to meet his gorgeous girlfriend Lauren's parents for the first time. The plotting is quite convoluted in this distinctly adults-only opener, but it has its moments. The best of them involve the marketing director, played by Michael Cochrane as a sex-mad monster who steals all the best lines. Even he confesses to being a little over-eager with Lauren's mother, played by Jan Harvey." Episode Guide Series One 1. Parents - Bob desperatly attempts to impress his girlfriends parents 2. Deadline - Bob has to present the most important presentation in the companies history that both he and Vaughn have spent one month preparing yet Vaughn discovers two hours before the presentation is due to start that Bob has yet to start the project. 3. Tarquin - After an unfortunate bumping into the company assessor during a lunch Bob decides to mend the damage by pretending to be his twin brother Tarquin. 4. Charity – Bob becomes enemies with Scotsman Spencer in a competiton to raise more money for charities week. 5. Money – Bob needs to stop maggie from taking up a new job. 6. Love – Bob tries to help Vaughn cheer up after losing his girlfriend Briony, yet ends up making matters worse. Series Two 1. Revenge – Bob to make a mockery of Maggie via an internet dating service but Maggie plans revenge, also Mr. Marketing Director dabbles in homosexuality. 2. Family Values - Russian visitors to the office cause major upheaval for Bob and Maggie, whose antics include posing as man and wife. Also, a 24-hour webcam is set up in Bob's office - with amusing results. 3. Home: The marketing director is kicked out by his wife - and decides to move in with Bob. However, in between girlfriends, Bob is temporarily homeless and 'borrows' the keys to Vaughan's uncle's flat while he is away. 4. Best Man: Vaughan and Briony are about to be married. Their pre-nuptial agreement includes the proviso that Bob will not be best man, but Vaughan is too scared to tell him. 5. Fast-Track: Maggie is chosen by a newspaper as the subject of an article about women in the workplace. But she soon finds herself being eclipsed by her new assistant - who is poached first by Bob and then by the Marketing director in a meteoric rise through the company. 6. Graduates: After Bob brags about his fake university qualifications, Maggie volunteers him to give a careers talk in an effort to boost graduate recruitment in the company. 7. Mutiny: Bob returns from an extended holiday to find that Vaughan has taken over his office and his job, and immediately plans his comeback. One of the changes criticised was that the Marketing Directors character had become much more of a central character and with this came many more sexual innuendos and references, to which some people believed was simply too rude for the style of the show. Another criticism was made due to Paul Kaye’s new haircut, which was long, black and in many episodes rather scruffy, this gave the feel that Bob Slay wasn’t as organised as he was in the first series and that he wasn’t to sensitive to what people thought of his image which couldn’t be more opposite to his true ambitions. Releases Perfect World Series One was released on VHS in 2000, it lasted approximately 174 minutes and was rated 18, presumably for the Marketing Directors sexual implications and Bob Slays use of the F word in Love. The video has been discontinued and there is no plans for releasing Series One or Two to be released on DVD. Dollhouse is a high energy garage band from Enköping, Sweden. Their main influences in the beginning were The Stooges, MC5, Blue Cheer and The Who. They started out as a three piece act in 2001 when they also recorded their debut 7" vinyl single titled "I'm a man on the move" (released by Puresome Productions). Their sound has since evolved into a more rock'n'soul kind of sound, which means they have integrated rock'n'roll music with traditional soul and blues in their sound. They have also added a second guitar to their sound. The band's debut album "The Rock And Soul Circus" was produced by MC5 bassplayer Michael Davis in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, USA. After extensive touring in Europe the band caught the eye of The Hellacopters' Nicke Andersson, who produced the recording of the "The Royal Rendezvous" album.

Strong ale or Yorkshire ale is a style of beer traditionally brewed in Masham, Yorkshire, UK. It tends to be darker than bitter, and have a high alcohol content and a strong taste of hops. Examples of the style are produced by the Theakston Brewery (Old Peculier brand) and Black Sheep Brewery (Riggwelter brand), which are owned by separate branches of the Theakston family.

Benjamin Ezra (musician)

"Benjamin Ezra" Deckard is a songwriter from Indiana. He was born in Lewisville, Texas on Feb 23, 1981. He is the middle of 5 children. His performances are mostly stripped down to harmonica, acoustic guitar, violin and drums. The core of his band is Valerie Carr (violin), Bethany Jones (Violin) and usually Mike Reeb (www.mikereeb.com) on drums and backing vocals. His album "Our Old Selves Forgotten" was recorded with Paul Kim in the summer of 2005 before his European tour. He was coined "The Sears Tower of Folk" by Chicago musicians because he plays Chicago a lot and he is 6'6".

The result was Maze de Boer is an artist who lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In his work he shows a fascination for illusion. The spectator becomes aware of ‘the bounds’ of reality and always appears to be the object of his three-dimensional work. The participant takes part in his ‘performance’ by simply being present and by experiencing the environment. de Boer starts from a staged view on reality and seeks the boundaries between theatre and visual art.

His films and video work have been screened at various festivals. Just like his three-dimensional work, his films show a both realist as well as absurdist view on the environment. As a director, musician and designer Maze de Boer is working with other film makers, musicians and theatre directors.

Education

Maze de Boer studied art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. He is also selected to the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in 2007.

No real evidence exists proving prine Madocs story was real but Prince madocs story first appeared in writting in 1582 A.d. (this was about 500 years after his voyage)in a bbook by Richard Hakluyt a sixteenth centry english geographer. Prince madoc's story has also been located in the abbey of Strata Florida in South wales. in 1805 the poet Robert Southey wrote an epic poem based on oral history. some say archeologists dug up his family crest more than 900 years later. This is the evidence of Prince Madoc of wales.
