Welcome to '''The Smashing Pumpkins taskforce'''. We are a task force dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of [[The Smashing Pumpkins]] — an [[alternative rock]] band from the [[United States]]. The aim of the project is to bring all Smashing Pumpkins articles up to at least GA status.

This project aims to improve articles relating to The Smashing Pumpkins, its members ([[Billy Corgan]], [[Jimmy Chamberlin]], [[James Iha]], and [[D'arcy Wretzky]]) + the new, side-projects ([[Starchildren]], [[Zwan]], and the [[Jimmy Chamberlin Complex]]), all Smashing Pumpkins songs and albums, and all other related people and topics.
A general Smashing Pumpkins article must be placed in "Smashing Pumpkins" category. Songs should be placed in the "Smashing Pumpkins songs" category, and albums should be placed in the "Smashing Pumpkins albums" category. Welcome to The Smashing Pumpkins taskforce. We are a task force dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of The Smashing Pumpkins — an alternative rock band from the United States. The aim of the project is to bring all Smashing Pumpkins articles up to at least GA status.

Scope

All Smashing Pumpkins albums and songs, and also articles on band members and related people. This does not include side or solo projects.

Guidelines

A general Smashing Pumpkins article must be placed in "Smashing Pumpkins" category. Songs should be placed in the "Smashing Pumpkins songs" category, and albums should be placed in the "Smashing Pumpkins albums" category. Include the {{Smashing Pumpkins}} at the bottom of each page on the subject.
