==Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion== |
|||
I have to ask you why you reverted back to a picture which replaced an in-concert photo of Trey Anastasio with a fan photo of, perhaps, Trey captioned with a throwaway Phish meme of "Poor Sue", in the presence of three unrelated people, added by a single-edit contributor who uploaded the picture a few hours ago. You didn't leave a explanation in your edit summary of what appears to be a substandard picture replacement, so I am curious as your thinking on the change. Thanks for your time. -- Michael Devore (talk) 07:14, 31 August 2014 (UTC) |

Thank you for uploading :File:Samdavjunjw.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page. |

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.<!-- Template:You can request undeletion --> |

Hello. I wonder if you would explain why you marked this edit as minor and with no edit summary? I recently addressed another edit of yours which was also inappropriately marked as minor, so I had hoped you would have taken notice. I will consider bringing this to the Arbitration Enforcement noticeboard if I see more edits inappropriately marked as minor or similar problems. Image copyright problem with File:Cogosx7.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Cogosx7.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
