It can be difficult to always follow but it's important: when someone begins to judge other editors and question their motivations, evidence should also be provided ([[WP:ASPERSION]] also has related information). Once that judging game begins it's difficult to assume [[WP:AGF|good faith]] and it invites other editors to do the same... A number of editors participating there have a long history of working for the encyclopedia in many fields, they're not there because they hate a topic or some people, or because they have a conflict of interest, they only participate because of significant recent disruption by advocates in the topic area.
