I just wanted to mention that your contributions history speaks for itself and your argument there was about the interpretation of a source, that is legitimate WP business, unlike the many single purpose accounts who only campaign to complain or vote that it's somehow not pseudoscience. No worries, and happy editing, —<span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#44a;text-shadow:2px 2px 3px DimGray;">Paleo</span><span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#272;text-shadow:2px 2px 3px DimGray;">Neonate</span> – 05:53, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Hi FlyingNinja1, thank you for filing your recent report on the vandalism noticeboard. I noticed that another editor had removed your report because it was formatted unconventionally, although yet another editor then restored it for you with the standard formatting.

In the future, the easiest way to file a vandalism report is to use Twinkle, which lets you fill out a simple form and automatically does the rest. Twinkle also speeds up many other procedures on Wikipedia, including delivering warning templates and nominating articles for deletion. If you have not yet tried Twinkle, I think you'll find it very useful. Cheers. —&nbsp;<span style="color:#536267;">Newslinger</span>&nbsp;<small><span style="color:#708090;">talk</span></small> 07:47, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello. This type of warning is thoroughly unacceptable, and Legal threats of any kind are not tolerated. Please do not do this. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 08:02, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

WP:FOC has not been linked but it has been mentioned at the Ayurveda talk page so I'll include the link here for convenience. It can be difficult to always follow but it's important: when someone begins to judge other editors and question their motivations, evidence should also be provided (WP:ASPERSION also has related information). Once that judging game begins it's difficult to assume good faith and it invites other editors to do the same... A number of editors participating there have a long history of working for the encyclopedia in many fields, they're not there because they hate a topic or some people, or because they have a conflict of interest, they only participate because of significant recent disruption by advocates in the topic area. I also forgot to issue standard DS templates so will issue them below. If an editor really misbehaves the first step would be to issue friendly warnings at their talk page. If necessary they can ultimately be reported at WP:ANI or at WP:AE. —<span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#44a;text-shadow:2px 2px 3px DimGray;">Paleo</span><span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#272;text-shadow:2px 2px 3px DimGray;">Neonate</span> – 00:04, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
:@Zzuuzz, I was joking, did you not get it. What legal action can I take? I was trying to scare them to make them stop vandalizing? I hope you are joking too. FlyingNinja1 (talk) 10:57, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

::No it did not come across as a joke, but as a threat, as you've indicated. So I'm not joking. What legal action can Wikipedia take? Probably lots. Thanks for refraining. -- zzuuzz (talk) 11:02, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

@Zzuuzz, I am deeply sorry for my actions and will proceed to undo any such edit made by me. It didn't arise to me that legal action was a real threat in Wikipedia. I was exasperated by all the vandals and thought that they must be kids who were playing around, so I devised my method of scaring them with legal action for vandalism, which I thought did not exist. Hope you understand It was a very crude and stupid method but was done in good faith and this doesn't make a bad impression of me

:Thanks. All's fixed so it's all good. -- zzuuzz (talk) 18:33, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Important standard DS notices

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in pseudoscience and fringe science. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
