Thank you for uploading :File:Charles Holloway James.jpg. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.<!-- Template:You can request undeletion -->

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:CHJ c1935.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 22:01, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re list of persons killed in thorpe rail accident 1874: did it cross your mind that a) Thorpe would prefer to be capitalised in the title and b) a link to the article about the accident would be useful? Fact is that such a lsit is utterly unencyclopedic. If, by any remote chance, any of the people in your list have Wikipedia articles then you may mention that in Thorpe rail accident. Otherwise, put the list on one of your own websites and link to it from the accident article. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 22:23, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Pamela Ropner has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the prod blp tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Thomas Stuttaford, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Garrett (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:49, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Dilucidate. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Pamela Ropner, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

 1. edit the page
 2. remove the text that looks like this:
 3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks,
