Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, :Orlando In Heaven. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – :Guitars for Wounded Warriors. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at :Guitars for Wounded Warriors. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the , or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.<!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> <small><span style="color:black;">Lourdes</span></small> 07:53, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on :Orlando In Heaven requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. ==File permission problem with File:Ghost Dance Cover by Brian Tarquin.jpeg==

Thanks for uploading :File:Ghost Dance Cover by Brian Tarquin.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
* make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
* Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as non-free fair use or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in [ your upload log]. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Could you please stop Stalking me! I am in the process of creating this page for Pema Browne and you keep placing a deletion on the page. This is extremely unhelpful and really ridiculous. I'm sure you could police other sites, it's a large web out there. She just passed away and I'm trying to create this page.

@Jungleboy65 - You are really not doing yourself any good by accusing Chrissymad, or anyone else for that matter, of being a troll. I again suggest you read the welcome message I left on your talk page and pay attention to the links in that message. :You guys are really too much. My god my mom just died and I'm trying to make this page, as she was a well known artist and literary agent in New York City. And all u do is flag it for deletion before I'm done and tell me to read links. You guys are absolutely no help at all. I don't how old you guys are, but this is really grade school stuff.

::Comment - @Jungleboy65 - I am sorry for your loss; however, perhaps this is not the time to try to add an article for her. You may want to rethink this in a few days or weeks and create the article as a Draft: article. I would be aware that Wikipedia is not a place to post tributes or obituary like articles and the fact that you are related will get the article tagged as COI - see WP:COI. Articles are only included if the subject meets Wikipedia defined notability - beware that Wikipedia defined notability differs from "real-world" notability. I would for also again suggest you read the welcome message on your talk page above and read the linked articles - t will help you understand the difference in notability. Also, I would point you to WP:UNCIVIL and WP:CIVIL before responding to other editor's actions. We are a community that thrives on the volunteers that support Wikipedia and if you choose to join the community, there are some very basic tenets that we all need to follow. Doing so will ease the process of getting your first article accepted. My best to you... Thank you for your message on my talk page. As you say you are a management company representing artists, then any edits you have made about them have been done in violation of wikipedia's policy on paid editing. Note that this is not a suggestion, but a requirement that you agreed to when you created an account to edit here. You must disclose paid editing and you must also abide by wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines. Please read these carefully (see below) and make the appropriate disclosures before making any further edits.
<br>In response to your question about my editing, I am a volunteer editor here, and I have no connection to the subjects whose articles I have edited, nor have I ever edited for payment or as part of my employment. I am someone who has been volunteering here for a number of years and have found myself focusing on areas of conflict of interest editing. Thank you. ===Paid editing warning===
Hello Jungleboy65. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are <u>required</u> by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Jungleboy65. The template Paid can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: . If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. <!-- Template:Uw-paid1 --> Melcous (talk) 23:13, 18 March 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Brian Tarquin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bumblefoot. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Image without license

[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Tarquin BET-1996.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Tarquin BET-1996.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like PD-self (to release all rights), CC-by-sa-3.0 (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 03:45, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Orlando In Heaven

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Orlando In Heaven. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Guitars for Wounded Warriors. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Guitars for Wounded Warriors.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Lourdes 07:53, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Orlando In Heaven requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

[edit]

Hello, Jungleboy65. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. File permission problem with File:Ghost Dance Cover by Brian Tarquin.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ghost Dance Cover by Brian Tarquin.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

 • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
 • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license.

You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jon Kolbert (talk) 19:33, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Pema Browne, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Nomination of Pema Browne for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Pema Browne is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Pema Browne

[edit]

Could you please stop Stalking me! I am in the process of creating this page for Pema Browne and you keep placing a deletion on the page. This is extremely unhelpful and really ridiculous. I'm sure you could police other sites, it's a large web out there. She just passed away and I'm trying to create this page.

Thank you

Welcome!

@Jungleboy65 - You are really not doing yourself any good by accusing Chrissymad, or anyone else for that matter, of being a troll. I again suggest you read the welcome message I left on your talk page and pay attention to the links in that message. reddogsix (talk) 20:21, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You guys are really too much. My god my mom just died and I'm trying to make this page, as she was a well known artist and literary agent in New York City. And all u do is flag it for deletion before I'm done and tell me to read links. You guys are absolutely no help at all. I don't how old you guys are, but this is really grade school stuff.
Comment - @Jungleboy65 - I am sorry for your loss; however, perhaps this is not the time to try to add an article for her. My best to you... reddogsix (talk) 00:44, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you confirm if you have a connection to the subject? If you do that needs declaring, as people need to know what they're reading. Thanks. KJP1 (talk) 21:13, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be grateful for a reply. KJP1 (talk) 16:56, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest guidelines

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Jungleboy65. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Brian Tarquin, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

 • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
 • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the request edit template);
 • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
 • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
 • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

It is clear from what you have said above about your mother that you are the subject of this article. It appears that you have been maintaining a number of articles about yourself for many years so you may not have been aware of these guidelines, please read them carefully and let us know that you understand what is being asked of you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here. Melcous (talk) 08:25, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your question about my editing, I am a volunteer editor here, and I have no connection to the subjects whose articles I have edited, nor have I ever edited for payment or as part of my employment. I am someone who has been volunteering here for a number of years and have found myself focusing on areas of conflict of interest editing. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 23:13, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Melcous (talk) 23:13, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Soft Touch.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Useless, orphaned

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - FlightTime (open channel) 21:51, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
