I'm mediating a case related to the Neil Bush article. You can find the complete record of the ongoing mediation here. Before we get too involved in mediation, i wanted to make sure that no sock puppets are unfarily swinging straw polls or the course of discussion. While doing some research on the users and ips in question, I noticed a couple of possible violations of the 3RR using the accounts. One such example can be seen through these four comparisons:
- 1. 11-01-06 at 21:01 - Shortcut.road reverts "to sane content".
- 2. 11-02-06 at 10:20 - BlazingBuggles reverts "to facts".
- 3. 11-02-06 at 11:42 - BlazingBuggles reverts.
- 4. 11-02-06 at 12:40 - Schlotzsman reverts.
Please note that this is only one such example where more than 3 reversions occured within 24 hours as a result of some combination of the above accounts. See the page history for other such instances. More evidence supporting sock-puppetry can be found by following the edit histories of each of the above users:
- Shortcut.road - First post on 10/13. All posts relate to Neil Bush (including some relating to a Bush founded company). (Contribs)
- BlazinBuggles - First post on 10/19. All subsequent posts related to Neil Bush. (Contribs)
- Schlotzsman - First post on 10/25. With exception of a couple of minor edits, all posts related to Neil Bush. (Contribs)
- AuntEthel - First post on 10/30. Majority of edits related to Neil Bush. (Contribs)
- 67.101.67.107 - Only a handful of posts on this exact ip. (Contribs)
- 70.113.208.174 - Has about 70 total edits. With the exception of some Halo related articles, all edits relate to Neil Bush. (Contribs)
- 64.148.31.150 - One of the original participants in the devate. Only 4 edits total, all to Neil Bush related topics.(Contribs)
- 64.148.31.150 - Late Addition. It was brought to my attention after posting that I neglected to add this ip. Similar edit history to several other folks listed here. (Contribs)
