Recorded on an unspecified date in 1980 at [[University of Hertfordshire|Hatfield Polytechnic]], the soundboard tapes remained unreleased and presumed lost forever until fortuitously discovered by guitarist [[James Stevenson (musician)|James Stevenson]] almost twenty-five years later. Live is a live album by English new wave band Gen X,[1] released 20 June 2005 by EMI.[2] It was recorded on 13 December 1980 at Hatfield Polytechnic, in Hertfordshire.[3][4]
