Icingdeath and Twinkle are fictional blades, signature weapons of Drizzt, a fictional ranger created by R. A. Salvatore under the Forgotten Realms universe. They have been wielded by Drizzt since the Icewind Dale trilogy.

Icingdeath
Ingeloakastimizilian, more commonly known as Icingdeath, was a white dragon in an ice cave in a part of the Reghed glacier called Evermelt. It was slain by Wulfgar and Drizzt in DR 1356, and the scimitar was found in the treasure pile of the white dragon, for whom the blade was named.

<blockquote>"…uncovering a gem-encrusted sword pommel, its black adamantite hilt masterfully sculpted into the likeness of the toothed maw of a hunting cat." — The Crystal Shard</blockquote>

Statistics
Icingdeath's blade glows blue, as shown in Passage to Dawn, yet a slightly different shade of blue then Twinkle, and only in extreme cold temperatures.

The weapon absorbs fire and heat, protecting its wielder against fire. This magical blade saved Drizzt's life when facing the demon Errtu, defeating the demon's fire aura. In Streams of Silver, Bruenor Battlehammer fought with the shadow dragon Shimergloom and fell with the dragon covered with burning oil into a deep underground rift. This scimitar happened to be hooked on the dwarf king's belt, and thus saved him from the fire from the dragon's body as well.

In addition, it is possible that Icingdeath was designed to combat demons, as shortly after he found the scimitar, Drizzt battled with Errtu, and the demon was defeated in two stroke by Icingdeath, although it is more likely a result of the sword being especially destructive to creatures of fire, as the weapon as originally presented was a Frost Brand, a weapon with magical cold properties from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition.

Drizzt also noticed what he describes as a type of hunger emanating from the sword whenever a demon is near, which actually alerted him to the presence of a demon. Forged by elves, Twinkle has a star-cut sapphire on its pommel.

Statistics
Twinkle's blade glows blue when danger is near.

The defending property has been revealed in between the lines. If read closely, every time Drizzt is in combat and there is a blow headed toward him, almost always Twinkle is there to block the blow.
