Welcome! |
|||
⚫ | |||
Hello, 1997FordProbeGT, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you start editing: |
|||
⚫ | |||
*We're here to build an encyclopedia, but you probably knew that already. Still, it's important. |
|||
⚫ | |||
*Be nice to other users. It's a lot easier to get along people when you're nice and when they're nice. |
|||
A file that you uploaded or altered, :File:Probesplash1.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. <!-- Template:Fdw --> -- Тимофей'<span style="color:#0f00ff;">ЛееСуда</span>. 22:47, 15 January 2013 (UTC) |
|||
*Don't worry too much about the rules. The only things that will get you immediately blocked from editing are clearly disruptive, so go, be bold, make changes, and have a blast. |
|||
*You'll probably see other users using jargon like WP:CIVIL or WP:V (sometimes without the WP: at the beginning). If you want to know what these are, type them into the search bar at the top of every page and hit enter. |

Why did you change the date of commencement for design development of the second generation Probe to 1991? Are you aware that a mass production vehicle cannot be started and completed in less than 18-24 months before production starts and usually needs an investment of several months on design work? It does NOT make sense why you changed that, when the Mazda MX-6 was fully designed by 1990 as was the Probe. Patents from October 1990 prove that. By 1991, obviously development was well underway and prototypes were in testing scheduled for release in 1992. Please do not make edits that are glaringly incorrect, especially concerning dated matter.Carmaker1 (talk) 05:35, 9 April 2013 (UTC) |

Nothing was changed. I added that. I did the entire 2nd generation article with all correct information, a few mistakes should be expected, and all edits were done in good faith. Design date for 1993-1997 generation "1991" was pulled from the website Performance Probe. FPGT24 (talk) 03:29, 10 April 2013 (UTC) |

== Kill the Lights - current single == |
|||
I've undid your recent edit because, unless you know something I (and others) don't know, Hunting and Fishing is still the current single. |
|||
If you continue to remove it without sourcing it, or at least answering the question that has been asked, someone is going to take action against you which may impede your ability to do future edits. - it won't be me. I don't know how to do that, lol. But there's always someone.Greysepia (talk) 12:34, 29 June 2016 (UTC) |
|||
I don't care, because I can verify that it is NOT the current single. When a song complete's its run on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, it is no longer the current single. I have been editing singles on wikipedia for quite some time and this is the first time I've had trouble with people disputing my edits. Go look at Mediabase country chart, Billboard country update, Billboard Country airplay, and Country Aircheck, all of them show "Huntin, Fishin & Lovin Everyday" as a song that has COMPLETED it's radio run on the charts, therefore NOT making it a current single. Bryan's label is getting ready to release his next single, likely off the new EP due in August.FPGT24 |

{{unblock reviewed | 1=I have been on Wikipedia nearly 3 years and have contributed to improving many articles. I have devoted multiple hours of my time to help improve articles on this site. Even though I've been here awhile, I still don't really know my way around the site. I don't understand how it's okay for me to be harassed by another user but I get banned for it when i try to put an end to the argument. I had no idea that making a legal threat was against the rules. In all the time I've been on here, I have never experienced such a problem, I minded my own business. The user i made the threat against is obviously mad that I corrected him. Once again, a problem I have never had before. I had a good reputation on here now its ruined because of someone else. I do understand what I was blocked for and I understand it was wrong and it won't happen again, I just got angry. I will read and follow all rules if you will please unban my account. I apologize for making a threat and won't do so again. | decline=You were blocked because you accused another editor of vandalism for making a good faith edit. Since I'm the blocking admin, I won't handle this myself, but I want to make sure you understand why WP:NLT is a bright-line rule. You're hardly the first editor who's lost it for a moment and said something like that, but I (and whoever the reviewing admin is) want to be sure you truly understand the problem. In the future, if you feel like you're being harassed by another editor it will greatly help you to step back and seriously consider whether it's really harassment (I happen to agree with TParis above me), and above all keep your temper under control (I know how hard it can be, I had the pleasure of dealing with socks of Tobias Conradi); people will generally be more willing to help if you do. : Unfortunately, it wasn't "spur of the moment". FPGT24 actually went back and edited a previous post, adding the WP:NLT violation - thus showing premediation. ::: Isn't an indefinite a little too long though? The user will probably just make another account again (assuming this isn't the first, since he claims to be an experienced editor with 11 months and 148 edits...) He just needs to demonstrate that he understands that making such threats is never okay, and calling someone's behavior "harassment" just because he doesn't like what the other is saying -- is not okay either. Incorrect changes in Probe article
[edit]Why did you change the date of commencement for design development of the second generation Probe to 1991? Are you aware that a mass production vehicle cannot be started and completed in less than 18-24 months before production starts and usually needs an investment of several months on design work? It does NOT make sense why you changed that, when the Mazda MX-6 was fully designed by 1990 as was the Probe. Patents from October 1990 prove that. Please do not make edits that are glaringly incorrect, especially concerning dated matter.Carmaker1 (talk) 05:35, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
Nothing was changed. I added that. I did the entire 2nd generation article with all correct information, a few mistakes should be expected, and all edits were done in good faith. Design date for 1993-1997 generation "1991" was pulled from the website Performance Probe. FPGT24 (talk) 03:29, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Kill the Lights - current single
[edit]I've undid your recent edit because, unless you know something I (and others) don't know, Hunting and Fishing is still the current single. If you continue to remove it without sourcing it, or at least answering the question that has been asked, someone is going to take action against you which may impede your ability to do future edits. - it won't be me. I don't know how to do that, lol. But there's always someone.Greysepia (talk) 12:34, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
Bryan's label is getting ready to release his next single, likely off the new EP due in August.FPGT24 (talk) 17:19, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- fair enough.Greysepia (talk) 22:11, 29 June 2016 (UTC)

The file File:Probesplash.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- unused personal photo
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jon Kolbert (talk) 06:53, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
