== Welcome to Wikipedia! ==

Hello, and [[Wikipedia:Introduction|welcome]] to Wikipedia! Thank you for [[Special:Contributions/74.215.242.83|your contributions]]. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without [[Special:Userlogin|logging in]], but you may want to consider '''<span class="plainlinks">[{{fullurl:Special:Userlogin|type=signup&campaign=anonwelcometemplate}} creating an account]</span>'''. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see [[Wikipedia:Why create an account?|this page]]. If you edit without a username, your [[IP address]] (74.215.242.83) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a [[Wikipedia:Wikipedians|Wikipedian]]! Please [[Wikipedia:Signatures|sign your comments]] on talk pages using four tildes (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out [[Wikipedia:Questions]], ask me on [[User talk:BracketBot|my talk page]], or ask your question and then place <code><nowiki>{{</nowiki>[[:Category:Wikipedians looking for help|helpme]]<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code> before the question on this page. Again, welcome! <!-- Template:welcome-anon --> [[User:BracketBot|BracketBot]] ([[User talk:BracketBot|talk]]) 07:22, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

[[File:Information.svg|25px|alt=|link=]] Hello, I'm [[User:BracketBot|BracketBot]]. I have automatically detected that <span class="plainlinks">[//en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?diff=614853769 your edit] to [[Prawn cocktail]] may have broken the [[syntax]] by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just [{{fullurl:Prawn cocktail|action=edit&minor=minor&summary=Fixing+typo+raised+by+%5B%5BUser%3ABracketBot%7CBracketBot%5D%5D}} edit the page] again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on [//en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?action=edit&preload=User:A930913/BBpreload&editintro=User:A930913/BBeditintro&minor=&title=User_talk:A930913&preloadtitle=BracketBot%20–%20{{subst</noinclude>:REVISIONUSER}}&section=new my operator's talk page].</span>

[[Image:Information.svg|25px|alt=Information icon]] Hello and [[Wikipedia:Welcoming committee/Welcome to Wikipedia|welcome to Wikipedia]]. When you add content to [[Wikipedia:Talk page|talk pages]] and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at [[Talk:Hot Brown]], please be sure to [[Wikipedia:Signatures|sign your posts]]. There are two ways to do this. Either:
# Add four [[tilde]]s ( &#126;&#126;&#126;&#126; ) at the end of your comment; or
# With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ([[File:Insert-signature.png|15px|link=Wikipedia:How to sign your posts]] or [[File:Signature icon.png|15px|link=Wikipedia:How to sign your posts]]) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-tilde --> [[User:Ibadibam|Ibadibam]] ([[User talk:Ibadibam|talk]]) 18:47, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
:''If this is a [[Network address translation|shared IP address]], and you did not make the edits, consider [[Wikipedia:Why create an account?|creating an account]] for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.''<!-- Template:Shared IP advice -->

[[File:Information orange.svg|25px|alt=Information icon]] Please do not add commentary or your own [[Wikipedia:No original research|personal analysis]] to Wikipedia articles, as you did to [[Chesa Boudin]]. Doing so violates Wikipedia's [[Wikipedia:Neutral point of view|neutral point of view policy]] and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-npov2 --> [[User:Backendgaming|Backendgaming]] ([[User talk:Backendgaming|talk]]) 07:00, 21 July 2014 (UTC)

[[Image:Information.svg|25px|alt=|link=]] Hello, I'm [[User:Avono|Avono]]. I noticed that you made a change to an article, [[:Maximilian von Spee]], but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to [[Wikipedia:Citing sources|include a citation]] to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on [[User_talk:Avono|my talk page]]. Thanks. <!-- Template:Huggle/warn-unsor-1 --><!-- Template:uw-unsourced1 --> [[User:Avono|Avono♂]] ([[User talk:Avono|talk]]) 22:09, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

Please stop adding your own opinions about organisations - they have their own articles so readers can decide if an organisation is left, right, centrist, green, whatever. Continuing to add personal analysis can, as this IP address was told before, result in a block. [[User:Dougweller|Dougweller]] ([[User talk:Dougweller|talk]]) 21:53, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

== Copied from your post to me re the SPLC ==

==SPLC==

Gee, I injected my own opinion about SPLC and ADL because the articles involved have their own biased POV about the subjects of those articles, in which they are characterized as allegedly "right-wing." I will keep editing them until you stop labeling those persons and organizations as such or allow for parity. Wikipedia has a reputation now as the province of left-wing petty tyrants masquerading as editors. ESAD, thanks. {{unsigned|74.215.242.83}}
:Adding your own opinion is a violation of basic policies [[WP:VERIFY]] and [[WP:NOR]]. The articles you are discussing are [[John Tanton]], who is not described as right-wing, a term not even in his article, [[NumbersUSA]] also not described as right-wing, and [[Virginia Abernethy]]. She's described as a leader of the radical right (which she might well agree with, by the way), but we don't call her right-wing, we say that the SPLC sees her as a leader. In all the discussions we've had about the SPLC it's been agreed that it is a reliable source for such descriptions as long was we make we attribute them to the SPLC and don't state as fact that the subject is, eg, right-wing. And the lead to her article says nothing about her being right-wing, that's a mention further down. [[User:Dougweller|Dougweller]] ([[User talk:Dougweller|talk]]) 07:06, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
