Dear User: |
It is considered good Wikipedia etiquette to register as a user and use your user name when making edits, especially if you are a frequent editor. The Help page can direct you as to how to do this. |
It is also considered good etiquette to discuss issues on the Talk page and sort them through there rather than simply revert or add tags previous to adequate discussion. |
Incidentally, Rudolf Steiner warned against the rise of the swastika in Germany. Anthroposophy was officially termed a dangerous philosophy by the Nazi government, as it was 'inconsistent with Nazi racist ideas'. There is no connection between the movements whatsoever. ==Unacceptable behaviour== |
It is unacceptable for you to engage in personal attacks on other Wikipedians. For example in an edit summary on the Waldorf Education article today you told User:Hgilbert that " hgilbert: you are part of a cult that gave rise to the Nazi movement -- you should be ashamed of yourself!" Please read the Wikipedia rules on user behaviour. See Wikipedia:Etiquette . In particular , *Assume good faith, *Be polite, *Argue facts not personalities, *Be civil. == Note to Anonymous and Hgilbert == |
I'm sending this to both of you. Please cease and dissist from inserting pro and anti POV of any kind into the pages related to anthroposophy. All "facts" must be verified from a reliable outside source. As it stand all these pages are in need of a major clean-up. These pages are indeed disputed, so the tags have to stay, but inserting unverified claims is also not acceptable. If you wish for something to be included, please aquire the neccasery verification first. Please check WP:RS for guidelines on what is and isn't acceptable. I also suggest recommeding the changes on the talk page first as well before implimenting it into the article. Jefffire 10:24, 4 May 2006 (UTC) |

I'm not very impressed with either of you two's behaviour. Please discuss changes on the talk pages and research some references. I'm sure you have a lot to contribute but please do it within Wikipedia guidelines rather than playing into the hands of the extremists. Jefffire 12:52, 4 May 2006 (UTC) |

== Verifiability. == |

Verifiability is THE cornerstone of Wikipedia. The policy is detailed here > WP:V. Read it before making any more edits. Jefffire 13:20, 4 May 2006 (UTC) |

== Advice == |
I believe it would help you to register an account on Wikipedia (free and anonymous) and to familurise yourself with the Wikipedia guidelines. It is also important to sign all your edits on talk pages by adding four tildes (~). Jefffire 14:17, 4 May 2006 (UTC) |

== Factual information == |
Much of what you are adding to articles is simply untrue. Waldorf schools celebrate the local religion(s); in America, for example, the school I know best celebrates Jewish, Islamic, Christian and other holidays, while in Israel only the Jewish holidays and in Egypt only the Islamic holidays are celebrated. They take standardized tests at high school level in all countries I know of (that's seven countries). And so on. Please cease and desist from these unhelpful edits. == NPOV tags == |
You are simply adding NPOV tags to any article relating to anthroposophy or Waldorf education. I would like to ask you to thrash out issues on the talk page first; the tags claim that there has been discussion on talk pages. |
In addition, the claim that anthroposophy is a religion has just been thrown out by a court. For legal purposes in the USA, at minimum, it is not a religion and it is misleading to claim that it is one. It has no church, rites, dogma or religious leadership. The Christian Community is a religion but is as separate from the Anthroposophical Society and from anthroposophical life generally, as any other religion; there are anthroposophists that go to Episcopal, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish and Christian Community services. In fact, if they want a religious life - and many do - they need to choose one of these since anthroposophy itself has spiritual practices but no religious practices. :Religion is a belief in the supernatural, which Anthroposophy contains. Californian court rulings do not extend to Wikipedia. This is a religion. Jefffire 10:05, 5 May 2006 (UTC) |

Your recent edit to Jud Lounsbury was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles.
