I noticed a grammatical correction you made to the Tim Robbins page ({{Querylink|Tim_Robbins|qs=diff=141137321&oldid=140325004|your edit}},) correcting the possessive form "Robbin's" to "Robbins'." This would be correct if the word was a plural noun, but since it is a single proper noun that happens to end in "s", the correct spelling is "Robbins's." |

I guess I figure if you're astute enough to notice and correct the previous error, you might appreciate reading [[Strunk & White]], (the precisely correct usage of apostrophes in plurals and possessives is discussed in the very [http://www.bartleby.com/141/strunk.html#1 first chapter] !) which has been an invaluable tool for me in my own writings. This reference was shared to me by another like-minded individual, and has proved so enlightening and vital, I thought it proper to pass on. |
