Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-tilde --> --SineBot (talk) 03:53, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Yes, I know.
Yes, I know. After about 5 years of not knowing the rules of wikipedia (as they are so far removed from the editing process), I finally discovered them and singed a few posts. Within 3 days the vast majority of my changes (which had been added too/improved by other users, thank you) over the previous 5 years were removed (including the improvements by other users). Thinking it was a fluke or coincidence I launched a massive editing spree from another IP. I let a year go by with no edits. Again, my contributions were improved upon and corrected. Mind you, I followed the rules to the letter this time, everything sourced, proper grammar, good form, BCE/CE because saying Saturday imposes pagan worship of Cronus on the weak minded wikipedians, and all that carp, to the letter. Then, I signed a single article. It only took 8 hours for the work to be eliminated that time. I signed several articles of the next few months. Each one disappeared within days minutes to days. But this time I was prepared so the work of hundreds would not be permanently deleted. I painstakingly added it back, word for word from a new IP. Its been three years now, the information is safe as long as I don't sign it. It would seem that all of Wikipedia benefits from my anonymity, and I'm cool with that.

Unregistered editors using this IP address received messages on this talk page years ago. Since users of the IP address have likely changed, these messages have been removed. They can be viewed in the page history.
