HI, I'm so sorry, I took out your quote about For the Time Being before I saw your talk page on it. I didn't mean to be contentious; I just know that Dillard doesn't like to be thought of as Christian currently (or "only" Christian---as her website says she has no religion or many religions). But yours was a really good quote, and you're right, it's more apt to the book! My quote and some of the others are from her website, but I can't find them now. I've contacted her (she's a former teacher) to find out where they are. When I get the goods I'll work more on this and put yours back in (or, if you put it back in, I won't take it out) but will add the other to it just to give a sense of her current position.
