Current flag

The Flag of Central American Integration System consist of the emblem of the Organization with a navy blue background.

Design

The flag has a blue background with 4 word on the flag: Paz (Peace), Dessarollo (Developement), Libertat (liberty) and democracia (democraty). And there is the coat of arms of the Organization with this sentence: Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana (Central American System Integration).

History

In 1991, They are 60 golden circles in the emblem with light blue, a variant of this flag is navy blue. In 1999, there is a new flag: Some lines of the golden circles have disappeared. From 2000, the flag doesn’t has golden circle and the background is navy blue.
