Beginning in 2016, Manuela Osk Haroardottir (former Miss Iceland 2002) and pageant interview guru Jorge Esteban were awarded the franchise for Miss Universe Iceland. The national pageant will be held on September 12, 2016 at the Gamla Bio in Reykjavik, Iceland.
